| Movement #1 Thomas Bolton managed to knock out 3 new WR's this week starting with the first sub 1'45 on DKP 3lap! He broke this barrier first getting a time of 1'44"866. Thomas also improved his CI2 prb times in order to take the WR's back there getting 46"074 and 15"109. Right below and still #2 Fabien Da Silva was able to take the LC1 prb 3lap back with a time of 1'10"390 which was enough to beat BDash's time set back in the summer of this year. Lastly, #3 Giulio Centrone took on RR again and came up with 1'54"102 on the sc 3lap landing 4/6 on sc's and came close to the flap record with 35"631. Not exactly a perfect run so you know he is not finished there yet. The only player in the top 5 with an AF cut this week though was #5 Ben Stoneman who continues to knock out new times and WR's. He got plenty of strong times such as DKP 1'45"497 and 34"499 which are only stepping stones from Thomas' WR's there. Ben also went sub 47 on YF with 46"941, close to sub 1'30 on MC prb with 1'31"073, LC1 nonprb flap 23"943, SG nonprb 3lap 1'09"553 and CCB flap 27"875. His most notable times were on WP where he took the 3lap WR getting 1'59"653 and tied the flap with 39"442! He is less than one AF point from passing #4 Sascha Brauninger in nonprb and in prb where they are ranked one higher each. Can Australia take the bronze metal? #10 Leonardo Assisi keeps his spot this week despite some activity. With some minor improvements here and there, it was not enough to give him a huge AF cut. When you got active players below you, especially #15 Fabio Sacco, it's hard to stay ahead. The Idolo again capitalized on beating his old times which have been giving him huge improvements. Some of his pr's included DS 3lap 1'33"612 with BLS, CM 1'50"106 and 35"749, SG 1'10"656 and 21"894 and LM 1'34"964 and 30"807. In just a few weeks back, Fabio got into the top 15 and Myth E overall, easy for an Idolo! With a nice 1.3281 AF cut and now sub 5 in ARR, he is exactly 1 AF point from passing #14 Michele Magnaterra for the #3 Italy spot. Michele only got a few times this week concentrating on LC1 getting 1'13"232 and 23"935 before getting 23"893. Right below them is #16 Simon Birker who got some new MC times like nonprb flap 29"913, prb 3lap 1'31"688 and MC1 nonprb 3lap 42"179. Outside the top 20, the UK threesome was at it again. #21 Matthew Ord reached Titan A overall but did not move anywhere on the charts with his 1.3125 AF cut. There is still some AF to go before catching #20 Lars Stelzig who might lose his top 20 spot. #23 Abel Marques also reached Titan A this week but remains at the same position as last week. #25 Tim Shelbourne saved up about 20 pr's and sent them in one submission this week to give him an almost 2 point AF cut but he did not move up a single spot on the charts. Tim reached Titan B overall. The story is quite different on prb where Abel is #17, Matthew at #25 and Tim at #32. Abel still has some pretty awful times which he could improve in just one run so it will just come down to a matter of motivation. Passing a small AF graveyard, #37 Marshall LeVett finally climbed high enough so he could pass some players. With his 2.6093 AF cut, it was enough to pass #38 Abdulaziz Alhomaid and #39 Josh Habben. I am not sure if he was in the top 10 USA or not but he is now at #10 there. It was a similar situation on prb where he passed 5 players to push him into the top 30 and #9 USA. #42 Daniel Marass is almost #5 Germany after his almost 4 point AF cut moving him up three places in the ranks and now Titan D overall. His little explosion of pr's was pretty nice, especially his sub 1'40 beating Sascha's time with 1'39"986! Way behind the other UK groupies, #43 Stacy Needham was active again but not enough to move up a spot with Daniel racing past him. He has a lot of ground to cover before reaching #28 James Leare for the #5 UK spot. #45 Chase Peleshaty moved up a rank this week with his new times giving him over a 1 point AF cut. It seemed like the Dutch Virus wore off on #46 Steven Glen who fell two spots from last week after his big 3 AF cut. He is still Dutch Champion though, nonprb and prb, so best to respect his authority. Hanging out with some the other Dutch karters will certainly help him climb higher. At least keep Netherlands in the top 50! Wrapping up the top 100, #59 Tom Webb moved up one spot, #69 John Ahlfield made it to the top 70, #71 Von Flyler almost moved up 20 spots racing from Hero D to Hero C overall, and #74 Ben Wilson with about a 2 point AF cut. Movement outside the top 100 included #104 Carlos Munoz -23.3590 (#4 Spain, Expert B to Hero E), #111 Joe Sebeny -4.0940 (#34 USA), #116 Lenny Andreev -5.0310 (#6 Australia), #117 Basile Boffy -4.2340 (#18 France), #179 Joel Nunnally -5.0150 (#59 USA), #188 Isaac Teh -1.9680 (#1 Malaysia), #193 Arnaud Teil -0.7500 (#34 France), #196 Alencar Faria -2.7340 (#1 Brazil), #261 Kristopher Will -43.9840 (#16 Germany, Advanced E to Advanced D), #264 Julien Cloutier-Brassard -11.6410 (#18 Canada), #329 Kyle Bradley -17.1100 (#114 USA, Intermediate B to Intermediate A), #402 Austin Gates -15.1560 (#143 USA) and #527 Bryan Kelder -10.3640 (#48 Netherlands). New Records There were 7 WR's improved this week (blue) and five non-prb times (pink). Fabien Da Silva was first to strike this week now taking the LC1 3lap down to 1'10"390. Next up was Thomas Bolton who went sub 1'45 first on DKP 3lap! He improved his time there to a sick 1'44"866. Giulio Centrone got a new WR by going 4/6 first on RR sc 3lap! It was not much faster than his strong 3/3 pipe sc run but still a better time with 1'54"102. It did not take long for Thomas to regain his CI2 WR's barely taking the 3lap with 46"074 and the flap with 15"109. Lastly, Ben Stoneman now holds the WP WR's! Ben was able to beat Thomas' time on the 3lap getting 1'59"653 and shares the flap title with シヴァ tying his time with 39"442. For nonprb, Thomas got DKP 3lap 1'44"866, Michele got LC1 flap 23"893, Lewis got F8C flap 24"497, and Ben has WP 3lap 1'59"653 and WP flap 39"442. Awards Once in awhile we see someone quickly storm up the ranks to the top 100. Just last week, he cut 50 AF points and went Expert D to Expert B. Following suit, he managed to cut 23 AF points climbing Expert B to Hero E! Although he fell short of making it to that #100 spot, he will surely get there next week. For his surge in activity and rapid rise in the charts, Carlos Munoz wins the POW for the third week of December, viva Espana! Happy Holidays!!! |
