barrel train*

also yeah DKM gap cut doesn't really have a particular name as far as im aware, i like "gap cut"

my answer for "whats the hardest skip to do?" is rainbow road, ill go through a lil analysis of each option since im bored

WS lakitu skip: this one you can just call the WS sc (sc = shortcut) it's relatively easy but certainly not free. it's a little simpler than some of the other options here but i'd say it's one of the harder ones among the options. i rate the difficulty 2/10

YC yolo: this is probably the hardest of the options, if you're used to it it's not super bad but i still fail this many times. and especially if you take into account the different types of yolos this is certainly a challenge. i rate the difficulty 3/10

DKM gap cut: with some driving knowledge this one isn't too bad, but when you're going aggressively or your muscle memory fails you this can be a challenge. this is sort of the opposite of WS sc, complicated inputs but still fairly easy. i rate the difficulty 1/10

8 second flap in BP: pretty simple to learn with some good driving, even without TAS or swag strat. i remember struggling when i first got my sub 9 BP flap, but now i can get them consistently and compared to some of the other options here this certainly isn't as hard imo. i rate the difficulty 1/10

taking the faster bridge in DDJ: with a bit of driving skillz this is simple, although it's janky enough that i still fail every now and again. i rate the difficulty 1/10

dodging cars in MB and MuC: at face value, this is very easy with minimal driving skills. of course there are some exceptions like the trucks lap 2 and especially 3 of MB at high level, and the trucks on lap 2 and 3 of MuC at the end, if you're going on the right of them. so yeah this one really depends, but ill admit that they still get me plenty of times. i rate the difficulty 1/10

doing anything not on the bullet train: im a bit biased since i'm accustomed to different karts, the description is a bit vague as well but ill interpret it as just driving competently. idk it just takes a bit of faith and practice and it's not so bad. i rate the difficulty 0/10

rainbow road. just the whole freaking track: this one is the winner for me since at any level there's always so much shit to fuck up your run, and it's so much longer than the other tracks that it's such a marathon. i rate the difficulty 3/10

fan suggestion, MuC shroomless sc: now this doesn't quite compare in difficulty to some SCs in other kart games, but it's still hard as balls. i rate the difficulty 9/10

but yeah on a slightly more serious note these are all things the got me as well when i was starting out, you can go back in my youtube vids and see my fail every one of these in a PR im sure  Smiley this was fun ty! im glad the poll has plenty of votes Smiley

It's hard to play in 60hz. 50hz is easier, and for cheaters.

All of these are hard.

Not sure what yolo YC is but if it's what I think you mean, (corner cutter jumping over the water near the start to avoid going left around the corner and wasting time for quicker access to the tunnel), if done without a Mushroom, that and DDJ bridge option, (if no Mushroom is used to leap the gap on the broken and disconnected bridge), which come to think of it, I think you are referring to the other bridge in DDJ??

Either way, for me doing the two mentioned corner cutters without shrooming are impossible at my level.

Although everything else challenges me, I have and can sub 9seconds on BP flap and subjectively do everything else to a high standard to a degree. BP sub 9seconds flap for me personally, I rate the difficulty about 9/10 which is a bit of a guess as I haven't consistently played that track in a long time. On most maps on MKDD!! Time Trial I feel like I am getting worse due to lack of mental competitive energy and motivation. I have my same skill level but lack energy to motivate myself. Energy improves PRs heaps!!!

While some competitors on the MKPPs may disagree with me about my skill that's how I evaluate my playing strength. I see myself as average among the best and I am fairly happy with it eventhough I really want to be a karting God but that's not the way I was born. It's still nice being world class thoughSmiley

WS glitch is fairly difficult for me eventhough it is probably seen as easy at high level.

DKM gap/corner cutter would be the easist for me out of all these options or dodging traffic which is a bit vague for me. One of those options would be easiest for me but still challenging!! MKDD!! is tough competitively as an understatement.

Perhaps I should have said Rainbow Road is my easiest option but still tough as nails!! Everything you said in the options is hard even the easiest stuff is beyond extremely tough to do well and how well is subjective, very subjective.

For example if a less skilled racer takes a minute to do the DKM gap but doesn't fall off or even far less time in some cases they may have just gone without it. Because of huge time loss. Sure, you can say they did it without falling in the gap but the execution is so poor it's irrelevant they pulled off the DKM gap as EXTREME time was lost. My point is, the execution and the act of the vote both have to be factored into the equation to work out what the hardest vote is to do.

I am average in the competition for AF here, so I can't evaluate the poll properly only what is easiest to hardest for me.

Earlier I said Rainbow Road should be my pick for easiest eventhough it's still very hard!! This is because it's my easiest track to get better results  by a huge margin. I don't understand, I am a track specialist at Rainbow Road. Rather I do understand, it's in my genetics somehow to do better at that map in comparison to all other MKDD!! maps and possibly and I mean possibly, (not clear), do better at all other fast times in scores in videogaming.

Not sure as I've achieved a lot in gaming, but I would think it's got a good shot at being my strongest achievement at videogames Rainbow 3laps Time Trial?? Across all videogames I know?? Too hard for me to tell. My point is, Rainbow is hard but it might be the easiest thing for me to do subjectively to a unspecified degree to do it well out of all the votes in the question.

It took a lot of energy for me to write this. For now too lazy to go back over it and check it makes sufficient sense.

Thanks for this fun poll voteSmiley

@emoyosh I meant goodluck 'as' you improve your PRsSmiley

No doubt you can beat your current PRs, sorry for any possible confusion or any possible offense if I was offensive, (I know you haven't said I was), reading what I said to myself, sounds offensive towards you but that's not how I meant to sound if I came across that way).

Also, I am not judging your current PRs as weak either. I just have a lot of anxiety!!

You can improve your PRs, goodluck 'as' you improve them  Smiley

Also, sorry if I got your username wrong, I am still learning it.

I have Autism and communicating and socialising are far more confusing and challenging for me in comparison to people without Autism in general.

Anyway, welcome and goodluck Smiley

I said that I'm sure you can beat your current PRs meaning you are new not necessarily bad at MKDD!!

Without looking too closely, I'd say are already pretty skilled Smiley being honest not anxious or polite Smiley good jobSmiley I remember a submisdion by you, I think saying you were already aiming for an Expert D on DDD, great stuffSmiley

It takes a very long time to slow down improving PRs, lots of hard work at any skill level whether it be the worst gamer or world champion. Reaching personal potential takes forever!

going with yc yolo here because it’s the only one i haven’t done yet, probably because i haven’t attempted it either

all of these seem like they can be done easily with some practice, at least that was the case for me

So instead of acting like a coward saying bla bla it's impossible, you better play if you want to beat me instead of that kiddy mentality.
And to those guys, you have to find another way to beat me, I don't need to fake to crush you. Wink

You have a sub 3-minute rainbow road time, right? I think you could definitely do the Yoshi Circuit shroomless cut (yolo) at your skill level! That DDJ one is quite difficult though, I think only people in the top 20 can do that one  Smiley

@Parsimonian, yeah I have a sub 3mins Rainbow 3lap but in 50Hz.

Thanks! If I were to try and learn Yoshi Yolo which is extremely unlikely, I may or may not surprise myself and do a lot better than I think I can learn to do?? I don't know??

I am a track specialist at Rainbow Road, no other track can compete with it in my personal timesheets in MKDD!! Time Trial. I am so much better at Rainbow in comparison to all my other MKDD!! tracks and is possibly my strongest gaming achievement??? But I've done a number of awesome gaming achievements at other games so it's hard to say.

But as far as MKDD!! goes, my Rainbow destroys my Yoshi and all other MKDD!! maps. I am a Rainbow specialist at MKDD!!

With minimal attempts, I have NO idea how to jump the water at the start of Yoshi Circuit without shrooming.

I am playing so many videogames, I am wasting potential to achieve things in multiple games. To a degree, I choose quantity over quality in some cases and vice versa in others. I have to pick my gaming goals because I don't have the time, long term health or skill to do every videogame dream I want to achieve. As hard as it is for me to accept, I have to pick my battles, can't do everythingSad I am learning this as I get older eventhough I am still young.

Thanks for the support Smiley
