Hi, I saw some youtube video today on MKDD and totally forgot years ago I spent a summer submitting times to this forum.
I picked the game up again today for the first time in years and in between remembering how to press R a lot again I was wondering: would you say it's better to focus on one track (and get pretty decent at it) or to dabble a little in all the tracks to get better at general MT and such.
Now that I've written it out, it def seems like dabbling a bit in each track is the better option, you'd be more accustomed to the differences between each track, but I really really really hate the DKM shortcut and the dino dino bridge. Thanks

In general, it's better to play a little bit of each track and improve your overall skill with all the different techniques and lines. However, focusing on a single track isn't a bad idea. Especially if it's a track you enjoy, if you spend the time to optimize it you'll still sharpen your mechanics and learn skills that are still applicable to other tracks.
Basically, if you wanna have fun, focus on your favorite track. If you want your timesheet to look nicer, play all of them.

^ But with one extra thing. If you haven’t, join the discord. That way you can talk to other karters and they’re more likely to awnser you.

Don't even try to explain to a mk speedrunner how mkw is somewhat comparable to their own game

You know your community looks bad when even MKW does a better job at banning the people who have done undesirable actions
