Is using the wii's built-in gamecube allowed?

Hi I am new to the double dash community and I wanted to start time trialing but before I do I need to make sure it is okay to use the gamecube on the wii. I am not using dolphin and I am not using any emulators, I have a double dash disc and am playing on a wii console.

This has to be the dumbest and most pointless thread I've seen posted on this forum. First of all of course you can play on the Wiis built-in GameCube why wouldn't you be allowed. Its literally the same fucking game. And such a stupid question doesn't need its own topic. Post in site issues suggestions and comments if you have questions like this

I think it’s a completely legit question and not “dumb” at all.
I was thinking the same thing myself, never played a cube game on the wii and hadn’t researched if the hardware handled the game differently, especially for time trialing, no? What better place to ask than here.
Hardly a website issue.

Why would the hardware handle the game differently it's literally a built-in GameCube. The function of any backwards compatible console is to run the games as they are. it's a really silly question and you can honestly look at the website joining info and already deduce that you can so yes it's useless to create a topic for something that you can literally look up on the site.
