OK, I thought it was finally time to figure this stuff out. Based on the poll made over 7 months ago I removed the times the majority agreed on from MKLeaderboards. To keep the topic at least somewhat PP-related, I thought we'd have a final vote on whether we should remove suiryu from the Player's Page.

Suiryu has been on frozen for a while now and is unlikely to return anytime soon, it's up to the community to decide whether or not he should be allowed to stay on the PP or put his timesheet on pending and delete his profile until he returns (which is likely not gonna happen).

His times would be backed up so the profile can easily be restored were he to ever return and explain things.

I'll be voting for yes since he's already on the pending list.

Imo, we should keep him frozen. MKDD still has frozen players on the site that haven’t played in over a decade. Plus, we don’t have proof that he actually cheated. The times are fishy for sure, but until we have proof that he did/didn’t cheat, we should keep him frozen. And you never know, there’s always the off chance that he comes back and proves himself.

We could also try reaching out to him via email, since his email is linked to his profile, but idk how possible that is.

After reviewing my post for a second time and reading flanders' reply, I'm a lot more neutral on this. I'll still vote for yes but I think voting no also makes sense.

We'll be deleting the pending times no matter what, I don't think that really needs to be argued based on the decision that we made before. I don't really know what the PP says about backrolling individual times after this long but I don't think that's a thing that's illegal to do here. Right?

In the wake of Nagisa's exposure, every Suiryu WR uploaded by Nagisa should be removed IMO. There is NO PROOF these records were ever legit. The community only recognized them because Nagisa was trusted. Obviously that trust has been blown out the door, leaving 0 weight and credibility to these four Suiryu WRs.
The ghosts are not driven on CTGP. The ghosts are not available on the database. No communication with Suiryu himself to confirm if it was even him who drove them. Need I say more Smiley

I don't like how there are frozen players who are almost certainly never proving themselves on the MKDD site. Why can't they just remove the timesheet but keep it backed up somewhere?

That's what I think should happen here too, remove suiryu's timesheet for being a suspicious player but keep it backed up somewhere so it can be reinstated if proof is provided.

Also, I agree with having a consistent logic for WR history. Either count all of suiryu's recent WRs or none of them. (I would keep none of them)
