Yeah, that's really cool, awesome job on the website

Also, we've been trying to figure out some changes to the bounty, with all the money being held in one place in the hands of a trusted figure of the community to ensure that the entire bounty can be transferred over conveniently.
We definitely need to think about this for a lot, I've been doing some research about all this, when you're talking about handling money you always need to think about security and transparency of the process first. When concrete decisions are made I'll let everyone know, for now this is just a plan.
I reached out to EZScape (the guy who organised the SM64 bounty) for advice on this and intermittent live discussion with the community will be going on NMeade's stream.
To have all the money in one place to be paid is a much more convenient way of doing this. It lowers the ceiling of effort needed for donation since you don't need to hang around the community until someone makes the glitch and, we can ensure that the displayed bounty amount will actually get paid in full. Still, before we go through with any of this, we need to be as informed as we can to make sure it doesn't go to shit, arranging stuff like this is complicated.
Also, if we change the logistics of the bounty like this we would likely have to get rid of the 3lap bonus stuff, at least officially. We could maybe have a trust-based donation for that on top of the main bounty or something though.
Thanks to Alex and Batman for bringing up very valid concerns about this, this bounty was pretty rushed and I didn't expect this level of hype around it, thanks to NMeade for helping with the community discussion and once again thanks Truepony for creating the website.
Feel free to respond with thoughts and suggestions, NMeade and I will talk more about the organisation aspects based on the community's thoughts (and hopefully the advice of EZScape).
EDIT: none of the above happened
