I think I’ve agreed with PAF a bunch in this game, he doesn’t look like someone I’d lynch so far. I’m still of the opinion a Dan lynch is the best option.

@Kleenex: I think that basically means Mafia members, but they don’t know their scumbuddies. Neutrals with same win condition as Mafia.

i have a mk64 noskips race with zoran in about 30 minutes so this will be my last post for about an hour and a half

i kinda like moll casting suspicion over me, i think that’s a town play. i’ll admit my reads were a bit flimsy but that’s what you get when the entire discussion has focused around 2 players. he had every right to call me out and we need more people casting suspicions on others

maf aligned neutrals tend to be players that have a separate win condition but that win condition generally aligns with helping mafia out. something like “lynch 3 town members”. they can also be what alak described. mafia members that don’t know the mafia and can’t day chat with them. when evaluating the game you basically lump these players in with the mafia as their goals are detrimental to the town

i’m not a fan of john poking in and just leaving without any contributions. would like to hear more from him but what do you guys think? also any thoughts on tvk vs paf? i’m thinking it’s TvK just doing general scum hunting so i’m inclined to lean t/t but i could see it being t/m as i feel like paf just kinda blew it off. highly doubt it m/m

This is a good point, I was thinking anyone willingly going along with a lynch on tyg, leone, or especially dan is someone who wants to blend in. We need to look for more scum, lynching Dan this early feels like a wasted opportunity. I need to read the topic again to see how everyone reacts to that to get an idea about what could be happening overall.

Leone talking about DansGame the role being the killer and Dan being mafia are not mutually exclusive (at this point I think both are true). I think Dan has a mafia role that is something other than the Dansgame role

If this is true, this actually sets up an interesting play, we could leave both lewis and dan alive and kill someone else. Then, lewis kills dan (it will go through 100% if it is indeed priority 0) and we give lewis his win and then he can fuck off or help town. That's a win-win for town

the real question is, do we believe him, and do we risk leaving the 2 most suspected players alone for D1

If Dan has some kind of built-in Night Defense though (which I personally think is likely, being outed Maf at the beginning of game) and Lewis can only use the mod to attempt a kill, that's not a guaranteed modkill. So TYG's action might end up getting wasted and we'd still have the top 2 suspects going into D2.

And I really hope that space was intentional because a late-game spite modkill and getting handed an auto-loss would be a really shitty possibility.
