i have calls for work all morning but popping in to say i think maf has a switching ability too

Kyle is right, I'm convinced there is another role with a switching ability.

He means that a typical redirect action chooses the action USER as the target, and makes the user's action go elsewhere (instead of choosing the action RECIPIENT as the target, and making someone else become the recipient).

So Dan is still alive? We need to lynch him again today then, what else can we do to get rid of him? Dan could have like, Night abilities that get stronger and stronger the longer he goes without dying.

Also I'm planning on disclosing information about my role later today. I feel like we need to start coordinating our Night actions and using the results of the previous Nights to start hopefully clearing people, if possible.

Well, that would have meant that maf somehow knew that Vinnie was going to have a night kill and specifically choosing him to redirect. I'm pretty sure they didn't do that. Also, both shots would have been redirected to the same person. If that happened to be Kyle (or the person Kyle guarded), you would have died (because you can only absorb 1 attack). Also, that would mean we have too many bodies. Because all of this, it's very very unlikely that a redirecter targeted Vinnie and redirected his shots.

Supposing Maf!Wazz, it makes sense for me if Dan asked him to jump in like this and end the day early. Dan could definitely ask Wazz to do something like this and end the day early, and either try to write it off as Wazz just not paying attention, or worst case scenario just sacrifice Wazz, or even better hope that Wazz takes some heat for it the next day and is somehow a lynch candidate instead of him.

On the other hand, this could easily just be Wazz being an idiotic Town not realizing how close TYG was to hammer, or forgetting that Dan would probably hammer TYG even if TYG was Maf given how strongly his lynch wagon was going.

I think the latter is more likely; 50+ seconds is a long gap for a coordinated hammer. Someone could easily unvote in that window and very nearly did. Dan probably tried to throw Wazz under the bus so that he'd maybe be lynched instead, especially if Dan has strong Night powers going into N3+.
