We have known about it for a while but did not truly expect such a thing to happen any time soon. Three hours ago, Troy Dunbeck (TWD98) released a video of himself playing Mario Kart Wii with James Charles in person.

Brief background for people who don't know:

According to various amounts of research on old posts and former channels, James used to be in a hacker clan around the early 2010s and got banned from Nintendo WFC. He was also a user of the wii wheel and still uses it in the video with Troy. He brings this up in his Minecraft collaboration video with Pewdiepie and also claims to have had a world record. Not too long ago, James tweeted out that he was watching Troy's videos which may of paved way for a possible collaboration. Since they both live in Los Angeles, it would be quite easy to do so, and thus it happened. If I'm correct, this makes James Charles the most famous person to collaborate with any member of the Mario Kart Wii community and possibly in all of the franchise (not considering celebrities playing on their own with other celebrities).

Just wondering what's everyone's opinions on this and what it could mean for the community.

No disrespect, but a cover girl model is far from being a mainstream celebrity where most people would recognize him instantly, or even remember the name. Still, a player is a player, so good.
