A bit late but thought it would be criminal not to do this now when we have this rare chance.
So basically, nominate players who stick out as being truly the best/most influential/greatest mkw people from 2010-2019. (MAX 10 nominations, you can do less if you want.)
Note that this doesn't have to be entirely based of times (although it can, you can nominate whoever the hell you want), I think people who have helped the TT community (tutorials, generating interest etc.) deserve to be on this list too.
I'll make the vote (8 most nominated) once the nominations stop coming in.
My picks:
Fox
In my opinion the most dominant any player has been at a single point in this decade, maybe even the history of the game. He was way ahead of his time in every aspect, can't say much more. He also ran the weebly top 10's and MKW Records. Respect.
Totom
A perfect mix of all-rounder and track specialist. He is another player that was ahead of his time, definitely worthy of a nomination.
Cole
Cole has been consistently improving and setting WR over the entire decade. He's one of the very few players who have kept playing throughout the decade, a true OG. Also runs mkwrs.com, something we all rely on.
Sword
Similar to Cole, Sword has been playing on and off for the entire decade, still being at a high level today, something that very few players have been able to do.
MrBean
A bit controversial since he's not much of a TTer, but the TT community wouldn't be the same today without all the hard work he's put into the game. I think he definitely deserves a nominations, if not for basically saving the game from death, but at least for having the longest lasting WR in the game's history.
Jascha
Another one of the absolute greats of the decade. He's managed to stay on top more consistently than even Cole and Sword in my opinion. Being able to still compete at a super high level on so many tracks while also being untouchable on a couple to this day is incredible.
Luke
I just can't leave him out of this, even though he only started to properly grind regs in 2017, he's already upped the level on so many tracks and inspired others to push this game to the absolute limit. That in my eyes deserves a nomination.
Liam
Although lately he hasn't been playing much, he was easily one of the top players for many years and could play many different types of tracks.
Troy
I can already smell the pitchforks oh god
Basically, I think that most people playing right now wouldn't be here because of Troy. Hell, I sure wouldn't be. Even though Troy is a bit of a meme, you have to admit he has generated so much interest about MKW, and without him, the community just wouldn't be what it is. Can't deny the facts.
Justin
Justin is the most all-round player in the modern day, there's no track that he can't compete on. He might have not been around for the longest, but he is the epitome of the insane optimization of the game that has taken place recently. Finds ct glitches for breakfast, need to mention that.
Honourable mentions (in no particular order):
Blaze NMeade KingAlex Braixen Sam F Axel Niyake
My nominations probably arent the best since I haven't really been around for very long at all. I definitely missed out on people in the early parts of the century, it would be cool to see more veteran players vote and see the picks they have.
Let's make this a thing this decade so we don't need to wait another 10 years to do this! You don't have to explain every pick, a list will do just fine aswell.
