time for the obligatory annual goals thread, let’s see if any of you have 2020 mario kart vision come the end of the year (had to be done)

Last year I smashed my personal goals so I’ll be slightly more outlandish this time round;

-2/3 on TF
-2/2 one shroom run on MT
-16 on GV
-2/2 on rPB
-Improve my 1:17 on rSL
-3/3 on rDKJP
-Grab a few WW tops on No-Glitch categories
-Sub 49 Minutes total 3 lap time (should be a given with the above goal) and sub 14 Mins total flap time
-Enter Top 10 for Average Finish and retain my spot on there
-Pull off RR glitch (big balls or nothing boys)

- 3rd place on the combined charts ✓
- 3rd place on no-sc charts ✓
- No-glitch WW tops so people stop making fun of me
- Maintain my sanity
- Cheese a WR if the opportunity arises
- At least 5 more regional times ✓
- Keep enjoying the grind ✓
- Beat my wii fit hula hoop record again
- Update BKS' more ✓

-keep mc and mg by the end of the year
-sub 100 af
-idk what else those might take the whole year

goals that i probably wont go for but who knows
rsl 2/3 - takes too much time but i already have 160+ 2nd attempts
dkjp wr - way too hard, would take the biggest luck ever for me to get a fast 3/3
ng regionals - maybe rpg or probably mc ng, kc i also hit a regs paced lap in a few days of playing but thats kc

Hmm well I have two small goals mainly. 27th AF (before a massive AF graveyard). Currently I am 28th so not much to do there for now. Also my most desired goal is sub 50 minutes on the combined chart, and right now I am at 50'02"202, so very close. Other than that I have a few track specific goals:

MMM - sub 1:17
TF glitch - sub 1:50 at least
MC no glitch - low 1:22 rampless
CM glitch - get a run with new entry
CM no glitch - 1:58
WGM glitch - get regs back
MT no glitch - sub 2:20
MH - simply improve but 1:44 would be cool
rPB glitch and/or rGV2 glitch flap WRs
rSL glitch - WW tops, hopefully 1:37
rDS - lower 2:06, maybe 2:05 if I learn it better

prolly some others but i doubt ill get to all these anyway lol

Main goal is to make it so all 3lap times are top 300 and all flaps are top 200 but I have a few track specific goals.

MMM - mid 1:17
MG no glitch - 1:43
MC no glitch - 1:22
KC - 2:22
GV no glitch - 1:54
MH - Mid-Low 1:45 (I'll get to it leon i promise)

Ok, so complete a timesheet, only need to play kc, gv, raceway, and rr to do that.
Canadian Record on mg glitch/ regionals on mg glitch
get a triple on mg glitch.
Learn mmm lowtrick, improve to mid 1:17 with that skill
Beat every ctgp expert staff ghost but rr and n64 BC
Sub 475 AF once I complete my timesheet (projected to be around 550ish when i first complete)
Make MC glitch, dkm Glitch, cm glitch, get 3/3 bcwii glitch, sub 30 gv glitch, make gv2 glitch,
get 150 gold stars, at 42
do proper attempts at 16 flaps, only have 1 and it is quite dreadful

Don't know how much of this I will achieve during my spare time now but its a good framework for what I may try to do this year. Tomorrow starts a very busy schedule for me again:

MKWPP Related:

-Get to Top 300
-Get to Hero ARR and possibly King??
-submit more shortcut/glitch times

CTGP Related:

-Get my custom track flap WR back from Braixen (I hope he doesn't see this)
-Get at least one WR that lasts more than one day
-Get more Wii Wheel top 10s in USA and America (have many top 20 3-laps that can improve)
-Get more Nintendo and custom track 200cc W3Rs
-Get more 200cc flap WRs and W3Rs (even though I somewhat barely try at them)
-Upload my flap times on separate licenses lol

Other:

-Get a successful WGM pipebounce time without falling off
-Learn the MG cookie strat and getting a 10ish second flap time (lol nope)
-Make the rPB glitch
-Stop being such a wuss at spear tracks
-Continue showing off my skills at parties with other wholesome peeps while the unwholesomes engage in illegal underage consumptions
-Maintain my sanity when trying new or harder stuff
-Continue having fun with this game

I have so many goals left in sight, so I'll have to make a selection what I see myself somewhat realistically getting in 2020:

LC 01:09.3 or lower (basically beat Degausser's second to last 3lap BE record)
TF ng 01:49
DKSC 3/3 JimmyB (1:47 hopefully or better)
GV g /w Quacker (mid to low 18 hopefully)
rDH ng 01:35.3 or lower
rSGB 01:21

Maybe's:
rDS 02:04
rWS 01:49
rDKJP ng 02:12.5 (or any time for WW tops)
KC 02:18.1

One goal per two months. Doesn't sound too bad to me.

2020 will be kind of different for me

CTGP Records will be updated with new stuff and we plan on new things. I actually hope I can get somewhere Roll Eyes

TTs wont be a big thing I suppose since i slowly lose interest in it. I achieved almost everything I wanted (#1 AF Germany - Top 6 AF - around 30 CRs - helping the community).

Goals for now are reaching track goals on almost every track. Smiley

i know it's may but i only started playing this game actively again last month ok.

- remain on MMM european top 10. also get 1:15 finally, 3 years overdue.

- get top 10 european on another track (might try get regs back on GV or MG again although both tracks have been pushed so far down)

- beat Mark Kristensen on the no-sc 3lap-only AF chart (the most relevant chart). he won't see it coming. that way i'll be #1 Mw TTer (if you don't count Fox, i'll show him mercy)

- top 100 on all no-sc 3laps and flaps (i'm 100+ on 11/32 3laps and 12/32 flaps atm)

- improve my 1:41 on MG glitch (wall ride anyone?).

track goals in general:
- MMM 1:15
- MG anything that is better than my 1:42.6 with 3/3 tas gap
- CM 1:57
- DC 1:29 with BB
- KC 2:20
- GV 1:52
- DDR 1:48
- rYF 0:59.5 with BB
- rBC3 2:17
