Since the discussion about suiryu has calmed down and a decision hasn't been made, I'd like us to decide this matter with a poll. If new information comes up, that should be taken into account, but the people have already had the chance to speak and the general opinions and reasonable decisions (at least in my opinion) have seemed to be either:

1. Put all of his times that were set after the break he took roughly at WFC shutdown on pending.
(BCWii 2:21.222 and better, CM 1:56.612 etc.)

or

2. Allow all his times apart from the BCWii 2:20.475 (Keep things as they are)


We'll see how the results turn out, I'd be happy to decide this by a community vote, since this conversation will likely go nowhere otherwise because we have no contact with suiryu himself.

Regardless of the outcome of this poll, further runs from suiryu should not be accepted unless they are set on CTGP.

Like I mentioned in the previous thread, I'm in favor of pending just his post-WFC runs, as unlike his established records, the new records are just a little too flukey, plus we don't have any way to verify them.

Yeah, Nim was never banned. We put his runs on pending and he never proved them, claiming he sold his wii.

I think this is a reasonable decision by the community.

Pending, with an emphasis on someone eventually contacting him.

Just check everyone's times, we've had many hackers in this community. I'd say to have any time without live proof or on ctgp that hasn't been posted online be tested.
