Have we ever had a situation with a player moving from one "region" to another? (America to Europe, for example)? I know we've had like cole move from Canada to the US but thats still on the same main charts so its not as big of a deal.

Also, which countries belong on a certain regions charts? Do we go by simply which continent the country is on? Or do we follow which countries are selectable in a certain wii's system settings (Which would mean countries like the U.A.E and Singapore would be on the American tops since they are only selectable on NTSC-U Wiis)

What about countries that you cant select (i.e. Israel) Do the belong on the european tops since israel has been a part of things such as eurovision?

I think citizenship is the main factor. If you have dual citizenship, I think you should be given the choice to decide your own nationality. (But you shouldn't be able to flip-flop between nationalities all the time). For example Alex on the rPB tops has French and Finnish citizenship, and lives in Luxembourg, but he chose to be listed as Finnish.

Another good example is Yasu, he wanted to be Polish on the charts because he has some Polish roots but since he has no Polish citizenship and was born and raised Denmark (don't quote me on this, just what I was told), he was put on the the charts as Danish.

In terms of the borders of European tops, I think Israel, Georgia, Armenia etc. shouldn't count as European. They're only in Eurovision because they are part of the European Broadcasting Union, not necessarily geographically part of Europe. Turkey could probably be considered European since part of it is actually in Europe. But who knows, people will definitely disagree with that and there are a lot of points for and against.

And countries like Singapore should obviously not be on American tops just because they have blue line online.

I agree with arvo, if you have dual citizenship you should be able to decide which one you want to represent, otherwise, half the community would choose to be Japanese  Tongue.

In terms of continental borders, east of Yekaterinburg in the north and Istanbul in the south is Asia, Australia, NZ, Papua New Guinea and the rest of the Pacific islands are Oceania. The America’s and Africa are simple.
