What is the weather like that time of year?
Can I pay my fees at the door?
Thanks,

Weather in Louisiana (and Mississippi) is usually pretty nice in March. It will most likely be T-shirt weather even at night, but you can never be completely certain, as that
one two-day cold spell of the month could very well come during the ASC. You'll definitely have to check weather.com a few days before leaving before you decide whether you
really need to bring that light jacket. It could be in the 80s in the afternoon or it could be in the 30s at night. (The former is much more common nowadays, though.) It could also be raining the entire time. It will probably be warm, it could even be a bit hot, but it could also be cold as well, or at least cold by Louisiana standards-- you are highly unlikely to see snow in northern Louisiana in March, but I can't say that it's a
complete impossibility. Mild or warm temperatures are the rule, but is by no means a total guarantee, as mid-March is, after all, still officially considered winter, though everyone (at least in the South) considers March to be a spring month.
Spring weather in the South is variable. You should know that, coming from Tennessee.
Pray that there are no tornadoes, because that, too, is quite a possibility.
As for your second question, I know nothing about this. I've never registered for a Kart tournament or anything else before.
If I'm too busy to make it this year, I will try 2020. Because if this ASC turns out to be a success, then it'll definitely be back next year, I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunities for an ASC appearance in the years to come. I pay my home insurance bill in March, and here in hurricane country, that always comes first. I also have a lot of work to do in my back yard this spring.
