Hello everyone,
The best public transport connection from Schiphol airport to Alphen is by bus. It's also only 5.50 Euros.

To travel with this bus a card needs to be bought from a ticket machine inside the Schiphol station terminal (or pre-ordered, see below). Tickets can not be bought on the bus!

Also Martin asked me to post this since he cannot log in to his MB account, but, if there are still people looking for a place to crash in Alphen for the nights, his place still has some spaces available.
He lives in Alphen and has a few more spots besides Aron already sleeping there too.

Not sure whether we should take bus or train. Do we have to pre-book the bus or can we just pay and get on it? Need to make sure we all sort out the return journey to the airport. As long as there is not a limited service on Sundays, whichever route we take back.

@ Sami, there usually is some space for luggage, but if there is like a group of 20 of you taking the bus at the same time I predict there won't be enough for every bag no. In that case, using the train connection outlined earlier also works fine.

I just tried pre-ordering bus tickets online, but it only offered 3 payments options, and the two of them I tried wouldn't let me use my UK bank account info, oh well Tongue

So I'll just buy them at Schipol instead. Just making this post to let others know of this problem if they try it
