Been Playing SNES SMK since 92.

Been Playing since 92, me and my cousin love it.. and we still will have our weekly tournaments and play for 4-6 hours.. LOL.. anyway we have our original consoles and cartiges etc.. along with the new mini.. as well as emulators. what im wanting to do is a flat out heads up race.. no bots.. no power ups.. maybe just coins thats it.. anyone know if there is a modded rom like that out there.. or know how to mod one of my rom to accomplish this?? thanks.. great forum.. keep on kartin'...

It's easy enough to do a gentlemen's agreement to not use items in MR or GP150. Just pick up your first item and never press the A button.

It's easy enough to do a gentlemen's agreement to not use items in MR or GP150. Just pick up your first item and never press the A button.

thanks for the reply.. yes.. we do that also.. but there are times that the AI bot player just get in the way and just want a straight up heads up driver run.. LOL.. i didnt join yet i didnt get a chance to run some times on my SNES console.. as it not hooked up momentarily.. i mostly play on my wii currently for ease of connection to the TV.. but at some point i might hook up an old tube type set to use with the console becaue i see the tiny bit of lag on LCD screen. not sure anyone else sees it..

The old CRTs wont lag with the original consoles, so just use that going forward and the problem is solved. You won't have problems with the CPU on Time Trial if that is what you were speaking of? But either way you'l enjoy GP and MR for fun as well.
