Here we go again  

5 players made it into a final voting for the last year 2017! Many players came back and it was overall a great and active year, especially when it comes to World Records.

The poll will be closed after 2 weeks (1/3/18)

As promised, the information for the respective players are listed below. Please read carefully and form an opinion. The poll for 2016 will be closed soon so dont forget to vote there too

Liam

• 1:21.646 | GBA Shy Guy Beach
Liam beat his GBA Shy Guy Beach WR from 2015 early this year.

• 2:04.184 | N64 Sherbet Land (No-Glitch)
Liam beat Sword's 800 day-old WR and achieved the first .1 Awesome!

• 1:34.787 | DS Desert Hills (No-Glitch)
Cole beat Liam in late March with Spear but Liam did not accepted a Spear WR on this track and after 2 weeks of intense streams he beat Cole and achieved the first .7

• 1:21.608 & 1:21.572 | GBA Shy Guy Beach
Sword beat Liam this time on Shy Guy Beach after countless attempts. But Liam fought back got his WR back with an 0.001 improvement. Obviously, that was not enough and a few days later, he achíeved the first .7 (I dont want Liam as my rival  )Regionals, Worldwide Tops & Flaps

Luke from UK

11 World Records

• 1:18.107 | SNES Mario Circuit 3
Luke was an unknown Custom Track Player but he faced the Wii Tracks and beat Tyler's 1100 day-old WR with the new Triple MT strat.

• 1:17.975 | SNES Mario Circuit 3
After countless attempts and splits for the sub he mastered the triple MT strat. He improved 7 times before subbing on this short track. One of the greatest milestones in MKW. (He also beat Tyler's double MT-WR without the triple MT strat (1:18.095)

• 1:49.513 & 1:49.396 | Toad's Factory
It needed over 600 days beating Fox on TF. But Luke did it and improved afterwards and achieved .3 Strong

Braixen

• 45.280 | DK Jungle Parkway
Braixen improved his 3/3 rDKJP glitch run from 2016 early in 2017 and achieved the first 45.

• Coconut Mall | 32.159
Another improvement on a track he already held the World Record. Personally, I really like it when people push their own WRs more to the limit and with this improvment CM comes close to the sub

• GCN Peach Beach | 1:00.395
When Arrow achieved .6 at the beginning of 2017 Braixen got motivated and tried his luck on this track. It needed a few PRs but he finally beat the WR and brought the WR close to a sub. When will the minute sub happen?

• DS Yoshi Falls | 58.903
Braixen's fist World Record on a no-glitch track. Blaze and Braixen had a great fight. This record makes Cole's Sub look weird and there is much room for improvements still.

Blaze

• DS Yoshi Falls | 58.955
Blaze beat Cole's >1000 days WR first. His first first non-glitched WR aswell. Many similarities to Braixen at this point

• Bowser's Castle | 2:09.849 & 2:09.761
The first .8 and the first .7 on BC. Blaze's WR streak continues and finally got his WRs on BCWii. One of the most deserved WRs

• Mushroom Gorge | 1:41.445 (No-Glitch)
When 2 people quarrel... Jascol and Fox fought for the WR but Blaze took the chance and achieved the first .4 on this beautiful, underrated track

• SNES Ghost Valley 2 | 52.913 (No-Glitch)
The shortest track in Blaze's hands. His softdrifting skills are one of the highest in the TT community. Congrats to a strong WR that got beaten already but 2018 does not play a role in this

What a great comeback! Like no one ever expected Jascha coming back to CM after so many years. He also joined the community, he missed it for years. What a great lurker
He completed a full timesheet aswell.

• N64 DK's Jungle Parkway | 2:11.707 & 2:11.585 (No-Glitch)
Thomas beat Jascha's >1000 days WR but Jascha beat him twice + skipped the .6 Also a great comeback on one of his main tracks

• N64 Mario Raceway | 1:41.620
Jascha was good on Raceway back in the days but never claimed the WR for himself. But in December 2017 he beat Nocky's Mach Bike WR finally (This year really felt like 2010/2011  )

1. yf, bc, gv2
2 mc3 and sub and double mt wr and TF!?!?!
3 amazing player, one of the best comebacks ever (even revealed mysteries of his past and chatted!)
4.  Amazing times and WRs, but the individual WR's werent as impressive as the others - the KC thing happened in 2018
5. only just started delving into NG WRs

You're telling me Blaze only got 1 fucking ww top in 2017 yet that many WRs?  how do you get WR but bypass the top tens lmao

Getting WR is a WW-top time, I though people are smart enough to understand that (that's why I did not add them to ww tops achievements  )
