Hey again guys,

so no one wanted to help me. So sad... Smiley

Anyways here's my ideas for the Flower Cup. Please just test them out a bit and if you got better suggestions, suggest them!

WL 3lap: Backwards!
WL flap: The third part is your flap time and you have to go around the lighthouse.
MC 3lap: Mario + Standard.
MC flap: Eleking's pasta strat and my insanely difficult rampcut.
Suggestion by Martijn: 5 SMT's in one lap (maybe 7? Then it'd be actually challenging)
MP 3lap: Coinless!
MP flap: Get every coin!
RRM 3lap: Lap 2 slower than lap 1 and lap 3 slower than lap 2.
RRM flap: No boost panels on final section (apart from the last one)

That's cutting the turn right before the mushroom, but also cutting the ramp on the left side.
Difficulty insane but it's possible. Want to see if anyone could even get a time Cheesy

I have to say that I don't really like those, twists like shroomless runs (which already have their own competition), coinless runs, "grab all coins" runs, and playing with a different combo are some of the most unoriginal possible challenges... However, I kinda like the "hit a goat" one in DH, maybe you could combine this with the "hit 5 boost panels a lap" one and you'd get something pretty cool, I'd even suggest to have more goats to hit.

I agree with shroomless runs, I'm gonna think for different twists for those definitely.
About the 'coinless' and 'grab all coins' ones, I'm often not sure what other twists to have, and honestly it should be a bit balanced as well. We can't have all challenges be like 'hit 1000 goats' because such challenges wouldn't rely on skill that much anymore.

Also, combining the 'hit a goat' and 5 boost panels sounds good probably. (but not more goats) Then what would you suggest the DH 3lap be instead?

You mean like: "You have 5 minutes max. for completing 3 laps on DH. Try to get the slowest single lap possible while still finishing in 5 minutes".
Here's why it doesn't work:
You'd just drive the first two laps as fast as possible. Then you can wait at the finish line and just before the timer reaches 5 minutes you cross it.
Nah, I'm not including this unfortunately. Nice idea though, might see how else this could work.

Edit: Maybe if you'd say that the first or second lap needs to be that slowest lap. Then you can't wait at the finish line. But then again it also relies on timing it to 5 minutes and I don't think it'll be that interesting to try honestly.

No, that's not how it works, because COINS. If you wanna be competitive, you'd have to make your first lap as slow as possible while grabbing 10 coins, and then drive as fast as possible. I think this could be really fun actually.

Hey guys, I'm here again with an update!

First, let's see what twists have changed:
DH 3lap: Your first lap should be as slow as possible while still finishing 3 laps within 3 minutes. (suggested by Kleenex)
DH flap: Use 6 boost panels and hit at least one goat. (suggested by Kleenex)
CCL 3lap: Nothing! SEND YOUR SUGGESTIONS!
MC flap: 8 SMT's in one lap. (suggested by Martijn)

Anyways, let's get to the twists that I came up with for the Star Cup tracks:
PPS 3lap: Different amount of shrooms each lap (so 2, 1 and 0)
PPS flap: Turn around each Piranha Plant.
WS 3lap: Wario and the Tiny Tug.
WS flap: Can't use the R button.
NBC 3lap: Backwards!
NBC flap: Can't cut off anything.
MW 3lap: Can't drive through the castle.
MW flap: Can't use ramps. (bumps are allowed)

IIRC, Cros suggested NBC 3lap to be coinless and NBC flap to be backwards, but as Kleenex doesn't seem to like 'coin' things as twists I'm keeping my own choice here but of course cros' idea can be brought up for further discussion.
