David (David Batke) - Reason: Live Replay

According to a few discussions with this guy, it seems to me that he has been wrongfully banned all these years. I'd appreciate if someone has some experience about his case, since he has claimed to have been banned for recording other people's times with live replay.

Again, don't quote me on this. I don't have any knowledge about the actual reasons regarding his ban. I just don't see the reason to keep this guy banned without proper reasoning behind it. Again, if someone presents proof of a valid reason to keep him banned, I'll be sure to admit my mistake.

Here is his chadsoft profile showing his progress, the guy has some pretty alright times (GV2, BCWii glitch etc.)

His BCWii glitch time was set on a no sound triggers file, but then again, Fox's 2:09.906 was also set on that and nobody seemed to make a fuss about that. (This is not the main point though, I am just here to defend this guy and wish for the community to show some evidence since he seems to be clueless about the reasoning behind his ban.)

I understand the reasoning behind his ban, I do know that he was very immature at the time, but I'm guessing that's unlucky for him. He has proved himself with ctgp, but I'm not going to try make pp change it's policies. Just seems a little weird to ban someone for life just because they were stupid as a kid, we have all been immature at some point.

You don't send kids to prison for life, do you?

That link to MKWiiU.com were my forums that I ran from my home server. David Batke was caught copying Ghosts from Maschell's database, tweaking the last lap, and sending them in as real times. He even admitted to this publicly on those forums.

That list from the link Diamond post only has the banned players listed if there was ACTUAL evidence or a confession. It was part of the rules for getting on that list. If there was only reasonable articulate suspicion, said player would be put on the Pending List which is sorta like a Frozen player here on the MKWPP.

if we're going to have a moral top 10 its just going to be a real top 10 as ex-cheaters who perhaps now have proven legit times (drove in ctgp.) I'm a trial-anti-purist in the sense that I feel like if there is sufficient proof that the time is legit, it should be counted. I guess in that sense I don't attach the time to the name and the good or bad history that the name brings.
