You’re getting swindled by Mafia. This is why I didn’t wait and ask what everybody thought of my idea, and went ahead with the claim. Mafia always swindles noob Town out of good ideas. The chances to win are extremely low if we go with your suggestion. Why?

-It is cool to believe in people,certainly. But as you said,it is impossible to figure what is going on in someones head.Claiming roles is a good idea here,but it is the only positive point on there. Imagine lynching 2 players from town day 1 because he didnt think you were x so he claimed x despite being y. If we all claim roles,then,Kira faction gets to lynvh another guy. That makes a trople loss in a single day,and even in day one. All because we messed up amd believed in one guy.

It is not a safe plan because there os so much to lose just from a simple mistake.

However,I cannot vote you,and I also do not want to,because there is nothing yet that proves me you are not doing an unbelievable trick on us.

It could win us the game if Maf has no info for reasons you already stated? If Maf has no info then they would have trouble coming up with a char, especially if they don't claim last.

It could lose us the game if they have info about the chars or a safe claim list, because they would gain information, while we basically gain nothing, which gives advantage to Maf...

As I said, I think it's 50/50. On D1 there's no need to take such risks.

If maf knows about roles/chars, how would THEY gain even more information? They already have the info, right? And how would we gain nothing? Townies don't know who the other Townies and their roles are, so if we followed his plan then we'd at least gain something right? The credibility of the info we get is doubtable though.

But your reasoning is completely wrong, at least to me. But maybe I just don't get your point.

It's also kinda remarkable that just 6 out of 14 players have covered nearly the first 3 pages.

I'm gonna wait a while until I see more people become active, because right now the six of us are just accusing each other.
In which case I also think that the Maf will stay quiet for a while too. I mean, us six get angry at each other while not giving any attention to them, so the Maf will prefer to stay out of this fight.

Honestly I think that none of us who have been active since the very start of the game are from the Maf. But I could be wrong, this is just my first game, unexperienced and stuff.

No more opinions from me on anything or anyone from you. I'll just see what the other players have to say and with which ones I agree or disagree.

Well the chances are probably more than 50% that a Town member is going home if we lynch a player on Day 1. Look at past games. It's most likely going to be a Townie to get lynched, IF we lynch someone.
So I'm not going to lynch, and from my point of vision it's also better from Town. But if you have reasons for why it would be better to lynch someone at this point, go on, lynch someone.
