I started this topic because I would like to know what most of you guys will do after Miiverse ends,
since most of us use Miiverse to follow each other and to prove our times.

Twitter could be an option. A lot of players already use Twitter and it has a similar structure like Miiverse, where you can follow each other and post pictures. So we could all move to there. But of course it has its downsides like it isn't possible to upload directly from your 3DS.

Uploading images to sites like Imgur or ImageShack, and posting the links in the time updating thread could also work, I guess.

And videoproof could become more important because it's not that hard to falsify picture proof.



So what are your thoughts and plans?

There's a website on Wii U which lets you upload screenshots from the browser... I don't know if there's anything similar for the 3DS though.

No, not really.
But if you will only provide proof for your best times, I would suggest to occasionally make a timescroll too. At least once in a year.
The rule is simple, I think: the more you proof, the more you are trusted.
But problems will only start when you avoid to provide proof when asked for.

Will you not miss the miiverse community, Kyle? Or try to replace it?

I always take pics of my pr's and show them on Dicord. I'm not sure if that's enough tho...

Discord is okay. But the disadvantage is that you can't click on a player and browse through his PR history, like you can on Miiverse, Twitter or YouTube.

You can make a separate channel on Discord for posting your times and the other for idle chitchat. There's also a kickass voice chat, and some people even have access to vidchat and screen sharing in DMs.

I personally don't really care about the fact I won't be able to post Miiverse screenshots anymore, since Miiverse was the only reason I sometimes had to use my very first 3DS

Saying memeverse is shutting down in a few days, might as well bring this back

So we can do three things:

1.  Create a proof thread for posting pics

2.  Create a discord server for proof (maybe a separate channel for each cup, mushroom, flower, star etc.)

3.  Use twitter.

4.  Do all three options.

I'm pretty sure MK8D has a share clip to Twitter option baked right in.
