To begin with, Dan's first post of D3 says he knows both John and Zoran (who's Zoran?), are maf. Due to Dan being a confirmed town this post seems more believable than not, but I can't say I'm insisting on John being maf just because of this. It could be possible that upon dying you know the alignment of every single player. Either that or Dan had some Sheriff role.

Moreover, TvK's role guarantees that if john=maf then SG=town and vice versa, so this means that he has at least a 50% chance of not being town.

Last night, I roleblocked Sportsguy. I believe this roleblock stopped the mafia attack (carried out by Sportsguy), and there was NO attack during the night.
This is the post which IMO puts everything together. To begin with, John is insisting that there was no attack on N2, which is not the case as then the mention of my name in Sock's N2 post that I'm pale and looked like I've seen death, would be completely purposeless. Moreover, the fact that one of my abilities is to withstand one attack without dying only further proves that I was attacked. To me, this indicates that John was either the attacker, or trying to cover up the fact that there was an attack.
Based on this, I'm 70% sure John is maf, but until SG shows up I can't be certain
first, it'd be op of anyone to know ppls' aligments upon death, and iff dan DIDD know THEN he just could a told us the entire player roster!!!!!!11
