Hello Everyone !

Today, i decide to launch a leaderboard to the game : "Reverse Super Mario Kart (Beginner Version) (NTSC Version)" on this track : "Mario Circuit 1 NTSC Non-NBT No Pipe Jump with Mario". And just before giving my times, I will proceed to some rules :

YOU DON'T CAN :

-don't Use a cheated version, please download here : http://www.ffsmk.org/?task=emulation&lang=en !
-In RSMK File, don't use Intermediate or Expert Version ! Just play "Beginner Version".
-on MC1, don't use NBT (New Boosting Techniques) and Pipes Jump (on Turn 4th, Perhaps Turn 5th).
-You don't can use other character than Mario !

Now that the rules are fixed, we will discover the scores and table.

On this I have created just over half the tracks in proper reverse with epic edit
- you can see the map is rotated to create a reverse direction on the real start finish straight

MC1 has all items identical. some other tracks objects clashed or i moved the ? boxes to an early point in the lap.

I can give anyone interested the epicedit files

I hadn't played much in the last few years till the last 2 months, I just played in epicedit. I actually went to put this and my longboost practice mod on my everdrive and it cant read my sd card so i never played it yet on real system

I created 11 of these reverse tracks within about 3 weeks and never really fully tested them it was just to do reverse. I have spent much more time on my own tracks but again hardly any have had time trials runs

I'm sure if you asked Scoub nicely he would give you the rom as snesot has been dead for a while now. As for racing the tracks in reverse, I can barely do them normally so Il give it a pass.

OK, Are you motivated to join the topic ranking ?! Wink

I'm 99% retired and don't play on emulator, sorry. If there's a cartmod of it I'd be glad to give it a try though.

Might be a good idea to speak to everyone when you visit the CDM on the ceremony day, there will be plenty of players still there, a few only will have to leave earlier. Unless you can visit CDM earlier in the week as well? As for emulator there would be loads but since SNESOT went down, everyone seems to have disappeared.

Like Sami said I would wait till CDM, I will be there and it will also be my first one.
Most players are probably not going to play other roms than the original either until after the comp is over.

I will have all my rom images with me since Im also keen to find out if any other people are interested and I also need some other advice and testing done. I will be talking to ScouB for sure about it since he apparently has SPK2 coming.

The main reason I started creating the my own reverse tracks was because the older reverse one you are playing is not identical to the original, that is the very point of my tracks, they are identical in terms of the track tiles and enemy objects (which in Time Trials is 100%)

-My reverse DP1 even every little bush in the grass is in the correct spot

I did NOT create the "Reverse Mario Kart" roms. (The pictures above are from my own rom that only I have and ScouB has a version i emailed him about 2 months ago.
I have done a few of my own roms but unfortunately I haven't actually released any of them on the internet, I quite enjoy making the tracks more than racing them really.

This is one of my favourite tracks from my other hacks, it is based loosely on Frappe Snowland from N64
- The new darker areas act as clay (donut plains track)
Unfortunately the area available for making tracks is quite limited and usually a track of this complexity will end up racing quite badly because it is too squeezed up on itself
