Hey guys, since Etch wanted to do a No-R topic (as we already have a few side topics for special Time Trials) I decided to start it.

What is allowed?

Literally every character is allowed, use whatever you feel can handle the track best!
The mode to be chosen is Time Trial, do not submit times that were driven in GP or quick run.
Using Mushrooms is allowed.
Using A+B spin (if needed) is allowed. It is NOT allowed to prolong your mushrooms!
Using Shortcuts or lines that the official Player's Page rules do not allow aren't allowed in this mode either (many of them aren't possible anyway since you need the R button for some of them).

What does the format mean?

A listed record contains: 0'59"46 GER-Wild [B]

Time needed to finish listed track/mode
Nationality of the Player
Name of the Player (you can use your nickname, in case you don't want or have one, the last name will be used)
Used Character

Note: ALWAYS point out which character has been used! Use the first letter of the used character.

I'm assuming ticking that doesn't require hopping and hopping to set up faster flap entries are also banned? ^^

Filling in the rest, there's going to be a lot of a-tapping now and well that's what helped me win in GP's so I guess it's best however optimizing it will take more time. From what I can tell, if lots of off-road stick with Toad otherwise Peach is best bet. Depending on the track, there might still be some flaps better suited for faster characters but I want to at least have a full set before pushing things further...

Where are you shrooming on the flap? It's definitely a bunch faster to use a shroom after the second u-turn instead of the last straight before the finish line (if you are doing that) although it makes the subsequent u-turn a bit harder. I think sub 13 is possible with every turn perfect Wink

I did this first on RMC3 not thinking much of it and realized how it helped cancel out sliding effect on sandy courses etc. But man getting through the end section not clipping any grass, nice job! This will make the rest of the tracks tolerable.
Also Chris, fucking Yoshi how does he work?!? Smiley

^Yoshi is actually quite useful on courses with sliding, he helped me a lot on the DP courses so far, the KBs are good places for Yoshi but the most benefit from Yoshi, as he is "a sliding motherfucker" as Ethan said, will be on the VLs and SL. His sliding will give you insane snowslides which last thousand times longer than anyone elses.
