The top player in MK7 has 2 Titan C times (That is the 8th highest rank in the ranking system). Nothing against the people who made the standards but when the top person has only a handful of highest rank times, you know you messed up.Also emphasis is really important. It makes sound cool  .

MK7 is a game for track specialists. Heck, look at myself, I'm ranked almost outside of the top 300 in AF? but still I've been able to gain and hold a WR for over 1000 days. If the #1 in AF has a couple of lower ranked tracks, then that is a consequence of the track specialists getting ahead of him on a certain track. Also, not every WR holder is registered on the player page. For example, the SR holder on rKC might only have achieved the Titan B standard, but the WR is well inside the Myth standards. The same goes for the other lower ranked track.

I'm the first one to say that I'm open to listen to critics, but please, do not give me any of this shit. Criticism can also come in a polite way, offering possible solutions for certain problems. Oerhaps you can even suggest some kind of changes. The way you guys are talking about something that took a lot of work by some of the game's most knowledgeable players is kind of low.

Being the best doesn't mean being perfect. If Weisse didn't reach a higher standard is because HE DOESN'T DESERVE IT. Why the fuck would he be God when he's almost one second away of the rKC WR, which is already improvable by at least 2 tenths? 1. Titan A is the 7th standard up from the God standard in MKDD. In MK7, Titan A is only the 5th standard up from the God standard. If you want to compare these two, the equivalent of the MK7 TA standard should be the MKDD MC standard.

2. MKDD has 10 standards above the God standard. These standards make it possible to achieve a negative ARR score, which makes it very difficult to compare standards between the two games. But let's try. If you look at the top 4 in the MKDD ARR rankings: they have an ARR score of -0.6, which translates to God+6. God+6 is the 4th standard up from the God+10 standard, which technically compares to the Myth D standard in MK7. This makes the standards look pretty comparable in strength.

3. As Vinnie has already said, MKDD is 13 and a half years old. MK7 is 5 and a half years old, which is not even half the lifespan of MKDD. The beauty of playing Mario Kart is that people are constantly pushing the games to the limits. Look at SMK where people are still setting new WRs. Look at MKDD itself, which only just saw a new world champion crowned. It's difficult to tell where MK7 will be in 8 years, but I'm sure all of the current WRs will be bettered by then.

4. The MKDD player's page has 990 players on their AF chart. MK7 has only 391 players on the PP. All of MKDD's WR holders are on the PP. In MK7, a lot of WRs are set by Japanese players and other players who have not joined the player's page. A lot of MK7's WRs beat the fastest times on the player's page. If all of those times were to be submitted, the standards would get a big boost. We are working very hard behind the scenes to recruit all of these world class players, but in the end it is their decision if they want to join the PP or not.
