New Best Known Splits Thread

Hey everyone,

Since the previous best splits thread is pretty dead and the list hadn't been updated at all in... quite a long time, Goomba and I have been working on an updated version of the list! Before I start listing off tracks and the splits, we have decided that it'd be best to keep the best splits in a google doc and start editing the times off of there. Of course, for us to not have to worry about having backups in case someone deletes the content of the docs *cough* like certain discord servers *cough*, I have made it so that only Goomba and I can edit the page as of right now and if you know of a best split that's currently not on there, you can comment it in there and we'd be able to put it in! In the future, if someone else would be interested to be included into the editing list, I would be able to add them in Wink

On the summary Muc says 1'33"633. It should be 1'33"243 - 1'33"441
BC- 2'15"360-2'15"557 (i know its one millisecond but still)
RR- 2'53"200 - 2'53"497

Corrections in the Cup times
Mushroom - 4'51"415 - 4'51"424
Star – 6‘07“170 – 6’07”665
Special - 8‘45“028 – 8’45”422

Grand total – 25‘39“900 – 25’40“798

Correct me if im wrong for any of these please. But thanks for doing this for us

Yeah, I've been updating everything on the page and Goomba told me he had posted new best splits for some tracks, so that's probably why that section is a little off. Plus, it's not as important as updating the track total :p so don't expect those to be updated as soon as a new split is obtained just cause that would take a bit more time for me to go through and update those as well. Smiley

Actually, I think we will be fine now. Paul provided us with an excel sheet that updates the total times with us just having to input the best splits Cheesy

I've tested the excel sheet by trying to put it on google sheets, but some of the formulas don't work completely well, so as of right now (unless this problem is fixed) we'll just be updating the google doc manually and almost 3/4ths of the work is gone now that the math is done for us Wink

Anyhow, after the BP fiasco I don't think we'll have a ton more of best splits to report so for right now, Goomba and I should be fine with updating it ourselves. Thanks for the offer though if something comes up I'll be sure to ask you first Smiley
