I got $80 from this post

I took that for granted rather than searching for it. So no, that wasn't just a random number I made up. I'm not delusional. I realize it's $60 now, so why must you insist to reemerge this? Plus, if everyone now knows what I previously said is incorrect, how exactly I'm I misleading anyone? All someone has to do now is read ahead to get the truth; or you know,
goggle google it. You're exaggerating this just a bit I say. Though I'm sure in your mind, I'm exaggerating this altogether, so I guess we're of a more even playing field

I'm not mocking the game's quality at all. Very much the opposite. It's just that my experience with MK8 was not as memorable nor as fun as some other MK games I've played, or other games in general. At worst, it was shit and I wish I never bought it; sadly I lean more towards this.
MK8D is for upper middle to die-hard MK8 fans only. It has many cool, extra features that obviously make it the superior game to the original. Did I not say that if you haven't bought nor played MK8, then MK8D is without question a game to pick up and try? That indicates that yes, I know MK8D>MK8 by default.
But when I wasn't a fan of MK8 to begin with, what exactly is compelling me to go get this game, when I acquire no additional, enjoyable gaming experiences? And I'm sorry, but it is the same game at the core. If it were a different game, everyone would be calling it MK9.
So because I see it as the same game, in my view, buying MK8D is a rip off if you already own MK8. It's just fact. Nintendo sucked big time with long-term planning for this game. If I own MK8 +dlc, I already have 48/48 tracks, 30+ characters, etc. So for me, I'm paying $60 exclusively for the extra features, and regardless of how much of a needed addition these features are, it isn't worth $60. It's the same scenario as a dlc pack that costs $60. It's dumb, and it just highlights how close-minded Nintendo can be.
But as everyone knows, these additional features could be all that's needed to compel someone to go buy it, and as I said, more power to you if you are one of those people. But me, all I care about is core gameplay (not from battle mode), and MK8 does not deliver there for me, so MK8D won't either. And that's kind of been my message: if your experience with MK8 was just average; a game you played for less than a year, then put it down and never touched it again, MK8D will end the same way. So, why buy the game, besides to complete a collection?
Anyway, I'm just ranting at this point. If I were a rich fuck, I would buy it without thinking too much about it, and I'm sure that's what everyone here is doing anyway. Everyone has their reasons to make their own purchase, and at the end of the day, who should give a fuck about that? So, I hope everyone has fun with MK8D.
