I think it's a cool idea, shouldn't immediately refer to the past concept of POY, POM, ... it could be handled different now. Either way those who don't want it shouldn't be that negatif :p it's just for fun I guess and you don't have to be a part of it. As I understand Alex won't have to do all the work? And you can also keep the 'work' low by not doing POW but only POY and POM. Personally I'm not that into the idea, but I'll vote yes and see what it brings. Could also be a way of reviving the community even more Other ideas may come out of it too. I don't see the big issue.

I'm sure there isn't much outcry for POM/POW.  Some sites just dole them out because they always have regardless of activity.  It doesn't take too long to slog through a year of updates to pick out finest karters.  Alex made it even easier by mentioning people outside the top 100!
