So anyway to recap, the claims…
1. Vinnie scan Web = Town
2. Web scan 42 = Mafia
3. Dan scan Timur = Town (he’s dead)

4. not claimed, most likely Mafia Shot.

So 42, your defense is that I made up the entire claim to mislynch you? That's pretty laughable.

I had a completely neutral lean of you heading into D2, other than the fact that you disappeared there wasn't anything inherently scummy about your play. But the fact that you were a huge unknown made you a perfect scan target for me. I listed these reasons in my report's reveal.  

I spent the entire first half of D2 after I received my PM from Shock trying to see what other players thought of you. My question to TvK shortly before I revealed the claim was to see what he felt of your play so he couldn't revise it after he knew of your mafia leans.

And later Dan, a player who I have at nearly 100% town because of your interaction with him on D1 claims the final night action, making it IMPOSSIBLE for either my scan or Vinnie's scan to be moved.

The four night actions are there, clear as day. I don't see any reason to doubt any of them.

I'm personally against voting anyone other than 42 because of Dan's claim and the mafia report that I have opened in another tab, but I see how lynching J-Cop and having him flip mafia also gives a lot of information.

Trying to think of who would be a better vig shot and who would be a better lynch, I'll post thoughts when I consider for a moment.

What else do you expect? If you are town that means Dan is mafia. It also means you were redirected. If you are mafia that means Vinnie was redirected. I also think it clears Dan but my brain hurts and I can't dissect the whole thing right now. I know I'm town so something is wrong one way or the other.

Because Vinnie claimed he had a shot as his second ability and Shock said mafia only has one shot. I think Vinnie's play is very hard to determine whether he's town or mafia, even when he's town most of his posts appear inherently scummy. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he flips town, it's exactly what happened in a previous game.

We'll find out Vinnie's affiliation in just over 12 hours so that will definitely bring some clarity to this.

Oh yeah duh, what I completely forgot to consider is Vinnie and Web both being mafia. Since we find out about Vinnie after the day is over, I still think the best lynch is J-Cop.

What do you mean by that? I’m pretty sure Web was getting lynched D2 if (hypothetical Maf!Vinnie + Maf!Web) did nothing, and Vinnie is obviously dying anyway. Might as well take down the strongest player with them?

Mostly I was just really puzzled because Vinnie/Web being m/m has been my read the whole game and I Town leaned 42, so this is all sorts of fucked up to me. lol

Web and Dan would battle it out if I am lynched. Because one of these is locked to be mafia assuming Vinnie flips town. It's not a 100% confirmation. Plus lynching me isn't the worst thing in the world for scum, since mafia will just about have vote parity.

The actions this game give me a headache.

Just let me say this, if I am lynched today, and Vinnie is town, then Dan/Web 100% has a mafia. There is no way around it. I hope everyone realizes this. This is because if Vinnie is town, then the 4 night actions were Vinnie's scan, maf vig shot, maf redirect, and one of Dan/Web is the fourth action. The other is lying.

it's obviously biased coming from my perspective so someone else might have to persuade you, but from my opening post on D2 you can pretty clearly read between the lines and see that I have a mafia report, and that I start looking pretty closely at 42's posts with my new information from Shock. I spent most of the day after looking at 42 on J-Cop, as after I got my report a bunch of pieces started to fit together as why they'd be a perfect maf/maf pair.

remember, this is all coming before Vinnie's roleclaim that if accurate "cleared" me.

and yeah this is meta against myself but do you think that the dude that claimed "town consort" in a previous game here would make this "ballsy" fake claim D2 after I was pursuing mostly newbie players like Vinnie on D1?

Most of the questions that are asked in the math thread here are way above my pay grade so I'm not going to even attempt to calculate anything, but it seems incredibly unlikely my action was moved, and that ALSO assumes one of the other two claims (Dan's or Vinnie's) is false, which also seems unlikely to me.

I definitely think J-Cop is mafia but it really really hurts to let a 99.9999% confirmed mafia wriggle away through to another night, where he can plan with his remaining scumbuddy on how to best let that third mafia survive until the end of the game.

I see J-Cop's lynch as more viable now as 42 is for it and ALAKTORN seems to be for it (since he still doubts my claim).  I don't think it's worth debating how lynching J-Cop makes 42 look as he's in full survival mode.

In order for Web/Dan* 42 to all be town that requires a lot of conditions.

Condition 1: Vinnie is mafia.
Condition 2: Vinnie as mafia faked a town scan on Web who is also town.
Condition 3: Web was redirected from me onto a mafia member.

It's not very probable for all this to have happened.
