The reason I want to know your experience level is this.
If you are a new player, the chance that you are green goes up, because the comment is made more out of ignorance. If you are a seasoned player, then you probably would know, even as a green, that there is no executioner in the game. You could get that by reading the very rules. So your chance of being red then goes up.
And do not tell me you are a new player if you are not, I will be able to tell given due time.
Why would my chance of red go up if I was experienced? I think it should be a null read
I meant it more like this. Keep in mind at the time I did not consider the possibility you were doing it as a reaction test in hopes to get a newbie to slip up.
The way I saw it there were four possibilities for you.
Inexperienced green
Experienced green
Inexperienced red
Experienced red
Inexperienced red was sort of out from the get go, because inexperienced red would know there is no executioner, and probably not have the thought process to ask a question that a red would obviously know the answer to.
Inexperienced green I could see, because if you are inexperienced you might just make a newbie mistake and actually not know if there is or is not an executioner in the game. If you were red you would know there was not. This is what is known as a town slip. Since you have experience this is out.
Experienced green I had ruled out because I did not think of the potential for the rxn test there. Again, I am sorry for ruining that. I now think this is a distinct possibility but I am not sold on it yet.
Experienced red was what my initial thought was, given that you had experience, because if you were experienced green you should know the answer to that question, therefore I thought the move had potential to be red trying to angleshoot as green.
