We had a hard time selecting the nominees this year, so incidentally, we propose to you five players for POY 2016. Only one will get the title. Who do you choose?
Weisse What a year it has been for Weisse, he's done so much this year I don't know where to start. Well firstly he became the new site champion in April beating Diogo which certainly isn't easy, secondly he has set 23 World Records this year! Over 9 different tracks both glitch and non-glitch, an incredible achievement. He is now over 3 AF ahead of Diogo and doesn't seem like losing the number 1 spot anytime soon. His last exploit in december was a 2:16 on rMT G, only 0.004 away from the WR.
Miracle Miracle has had an incredible year himself, after joining the site at #29 he has worked his way up to 6th place, even passing the legendary Alexony which is an incredible achievement. Although he hasn't had any World Records this year he has set some very impressive times which includes his 1:11.666 rBC1 NG which is a fantastic achievement. So no WR’s but still a very good year for this AF player who played all tracks and got all his times in the top 25, except for one. He is now in great position to enter the top 5.
Aaron Morton Countless hours of hard work finally paid off for Aaron when he claimed the rRR WR in April 2016. He also improved his NBC WR several times until he achieved the God standard in November. Besides his world records, Aaron stayed active through the entire year and bested almost every NonGlitch track. His rMC2, rLR and rWP even made it into the top 10. On the AF charts he improved from a 47th to a 33rd position.
MK7Jack Jack came a bit out of nowhere in 2016 and during his peak some people were hoping he would claim the rBC1 WR. He unfortunately didn't, but he still made the top 10 with his 1:11.748 which he should be proud of. He also set his 1:38.604 DH which is astounding and also made it into the top 10. Although Jack has quit the game somewhere in the second half of 2016, everybody still thinks of him as one of the biggest revelations of the year. He started in January at #114 and sits on the 34th spot now.
Joshua O. Joshua certainly is one of the other revelations. He joined the site at #212 and has landed himself just outside the top 60 which is astonishing. He does have a couple stand out times including his 1:39.595 DH and 2:12.735 rWP which are both top 30. He made the top 100 on all tracks which is fantastic for him considering when he joined the site half way through the year and outside the top 200 AF. Joshua also showed himself as a respectfully player with a love for the Players’ Page and the MK7 community in general.
The poll will end on January 7th and the result will stay hidden until then. Thanks for voting!
