Alaktorn: It's a good start for mafia, but it's pretty normal for a mislynch to occur early in games. Regarding the chances generally, I'm not a fan of the mafia daytalk, I think it's an unnecessary advantage that probably tilts the game towards scum from the start (pretty much every game I've played elsewhere has been night talk only), so they definitely have the advantage, but there's a long way to go.

TYG: I don't think 4 is going to kill anyone, and I'm tired of people being reluctant to put pressure on. As for your phone, I very much doubt it. You'd need to refresh the page to appear on the active users list. So, did you check the site and just not post?

Very interesting exchange between darius and alaktorn. I'm convinced darius is town. I don't think there is anyway that they are both mafia/mafia and i doubt they are both town. So i have to keep my suspicion on alaktorn from the previous day.

I get the same vibe that darius got that his posts won't very genuine. He started the game stating he was busy in a flame war, but now he is all of a sudden the biggest perceived townie. He could be a townie, but i just get the feeling he is opposite of darius and i think darius is 100% is town.

Don't ever give up because you are certain of getting lynched. The more information we get out of a person the better if it looks like they are about to die. It behooves you to get more information out as a townie that's about to die. Again, if you are town the game isn't about living every day, it's about making sure the town wins. If you go silent when you are about to die it just makes you look mafia, and again, if you go silent, make yourself look mafia, and flip as town, then that's like the WORST PLAY you possibly could have made. Please stay active no matter how good or bad it looks for you!

This makes me think Sam F is maf, and they saw an opportunity to save him. Lafungo definitely seems different this game, and I suspected him Day 1. More so now. Yoshistar also seems pretty sketchy aswell judging by his activity (or lack of it despite being online) at eod.

I highly doubt that Sam F and Lafungo are m/m, although it's not impossible. Remember that our initial suspicions on Sam F were because of his "Walter-like" post coming in during the middle of the day after being completely inactive and jumping on the Lafungo joke wagon even well after people stopped joking. I'll re-quote his post for reference.

I certainly think it's possible that Sam is mafia, and separately that Lafungo is mafia. However, I can't see Sam putting a vote on Lafungo after there were already several votes on him and if he intended to be quiet for most of the day, if both of them were mafia.

You didn't stumble over words. What makes you scummy isn't the wording of your posts, it's the content. In the past few posts, you've done the following:

1) Made a "summary" post that focused on two people who were already getting plenty of attention, without adding anything whatsoever of your own. This is something mafia does.
2) When called on it, defended yourself by saying you always play this way, which is not really a defense at all. (I'm town because I say this is how I act when I'm town!)
3) Counter-voted me without actually defending yourself or providing any reason why anything I'm saying is wrong.

That isn't townie behavior.

Explains Vinnie's suspicion, but still doesn't mention me.

Although first post is often a joke. Remember it's also our turn with the Vig so we want as much time as possible to figure out 2 good lynch candidates so we definitely shouldn't end the day no matter how certain we are of Sam.
