This is the way I read it:

There were two wagons, Sam and Zarkov. Racer made that bizarre slip and Kyle pounced on it. He and Lafungo helped start another wagon on someone who had already looked bad for most of the day, and it saved Sam or Zarkov from getting lynched. It looks to me like at least one of them (possibly both) is m/m with either Sam or Zarkov. That's why being eager to get Racer killed looks scummy to me.

I'm confused by this. Are you saying that you think this setup is imbalanced towards mafia? I hope you realize that Shock's game heavily favored town and shouldn't be used as a measuring stick for the fairness of other setups. Mafia being able to discuss privately at all times is the norm, and conditional 2 KP (kill power) is fairly common in larger games, especially with a better town-mafia ratio (3:1 is good for town).
I didn't bother responding to this topic earlier because it doesn't pertain directly to the game itself, but I feel like it's necessary to do so now given Zoran's strange insistence on bringing it up repeatedly. I have the nagging feeling it could be a demoralizing/redirecting tactic, but I'll attribute that to paranoia for now.

How do you feel about town chances now? Do you still think i went over the top?

By itself, voting for Racer isn't enough to make me suspicious of anyone. It was the way Kyle reacted, pushing for the lynch while throwing the others under the bus, and Lafungo wanting Racer killed while not contributing to the town the same way he did in the last game. Those combinations of things are what make me suspicious of those two. Everyone else who voted for Racer did it because it looked like he gave himself away, but those two took advantage of the opportunity.

So it was my realization that saying Shock should’ve “outed” himself as Cop was a bad idea that makes me look scummy to you? I would go back to re-read what I said exactly but cba. Anyway. I was just shocked to see the obvious target (also strongest player imo) dying, especially after finding out he was also the strongest role in the game. I expected Shock to be able to get through N1 somehow, he’s the experienced player, not me. And even I figured out a way for him to do that a few posts after D2 started; straight up telling the Doctor to protect him. I think Shock was hoping for some crazy night mind games to be able to stay alive up until D3, because otherwise I see no reason not to straight up say “Doctor, protect me” D1. That assures that he will live through N1 into D2, which would be super helpful for us. Sure, he would be dead N2, but I think he should know that having the strongest town player, leader of town, obvious mafia target get to D3 would be extremely hard. So he had 2 options: die N2 by asking for N1 protection, or gamble crazy night mindgames to get to D3. It seems like he chose to gamble, which is a weird decision in my opinion.

Oh and I didn’t mention this but he could’ve easily lead the Doctor to protect him N1 imo. I had an idea of a post he could’ve made to make that happen before when we were having this conversation, but then you didn’t press me further and now I just forgot about it.
