I was pretty sure you were mafia after our D2 interaction and process of elimination got me to the others. I was also pretty convinced that if you were scum, Tyler's votes on you D1/2 were distancing. Bradon/Vinnie was the tricky one, and that was really because Bradon genuinely did nothing. Also, I think I speak for most observers when I say that this was getting increasingly painful to read as the game went on, especially this last day when several townies didn't even seem to know that J-Cop was the only possible lynch and almost no-one could be bothered to post, so perhaps it's not the worst thing that it ended now.

I already had suspicions from earlier in the day, and I wanted to see how you reacted - it had nothing to do with whether I thought that was the best plan (although I do think it's more useful to have a confirmed scum flip for actions and I thought Zarkov was more likely to be scum). Apparently Brett clarified a rule about inactivity modkilling on the maf board, but people in the dead chat were not interpreting his rule as he clarified it in the maf board. This basically allowed Bradon to lurk until near the end of day without saying anything and without drawing any attention, but most of us thought he should have been modkilled.

Long story short, this effectively gave mafia an advantage - not something Brett intended, because he thought his rule's interpretation should have been obvious. He didn't clarify the rule in the game thread because he felt to whom it was referring would be too obvious and would single out Bradon as mafia.


Given the fact that Brett felt that he wasn't living up to his standards and was making mistakes and the game was going unfairly, he decided to end the game with a no-contest.


Deleting his account was a choice he made because of how hard he took his shortcomings and how much he ended up hating himself. He was pretty upset in my PMing with him last night.


I had a lot of things I wanted to say about the game, but I'm not feeling much motivation. All I can think right now is the fact that Vinnie was ever even tied with J-Cop the last day is unbelievable. Yoshistar and Orange putting their votes on Vinnie is one of the worst mafia playing I have ever seen. If you can't realize you should lynch someone that a cop said was guilty the day before, then I have no words to describe the lack of perception and how badly mafia would have led you like sheep to mislynches the last days...

Shame the game turned out like this, Brett was doing a great job of modding. I feel like he was too hard on himself; even if we didn't all agree with some of his decisions, they were all reasonable and I don't think anyone here harbors resentment towards him.

I personally feel like I shouldn't have joined this game. I was already hesitant prior to signing up but ending up doing it anyways. I feel like I didn't have the motivation to invest myself properly. I also don't really like the disparity in skill/experience/maturity of players in the past couple games, so I'll be more attentive as to who signs up next time before joining in myself.

As for the game itself, my J-Cop scan was fake. My N2 scan was fank, but I felt like I had to attempt a gambit as I was getting lynched, because otherwise I think town was screwed (0 scum found from 2 investigative roles). The time between my two last posts was spent re-reading all posts mentioning J-Cop to convince myself he was mafia (I already had my doubts about him and he felt like a good fake-scan target, because there was no general consensus/discussion on him either way).

I had originally planned to reveal my real scan towards the end of D3, expecting the wagons between Kyle and me to be fairly close, to cement a Kyle lynch. I was then hoping to get protected from mafia shot and proceed to claim on D4 that my roleclaim was BS, which would have hopefully bought me more time for extra scans. It would have been fun, but all my hopes were dashed when Kyle roleclaimed.
