Clarification (sorry, I thought this was obvious):

Only the Medium, Godfather, and Mafioso roles are unique. Only these 3 are guaranteed to be the only role of their kind alive at a given time, if they exist at all. Meaning there can be more than 1 Lookout, Bodyguard, Doctor, Framer, Janitor, etc. etc.

I'd go for Walter, Eoj seems to be convinced as a townie, but that doesn't mean he's cleared.

[vote]Walter[/vote]

So what is your exact reason to vote Walter? The fact that he voted you? The fact that he apparently didn't read enough? Or simply because voting him is what you feel to be the easiest way to save yourself?

He didn't read enough, but seriously, why all go blind on me when there's actual threat besides me? As it seems, me, Eoj and J-cop are the bandwagons now, though I'm at the point now of the post I quoted, so I have no idea yet if something changed.

Of course I'm not positive about this, even if I manage to survive, there's no telling if I survive the night too Undecided

In this particular case, with 3 Town Investigative, 4 Random Town, and 1 locked-in Lookout, there could be up to 8 Lookouts, if the RNG was as Web put it "really weird".

Let me sum this up again. Joe will either:

1. Be roleblocked by scum (good)
2. Be blackmailed by scum (good)
3. Be killed by scum (good)
4. Confirm/deny his role at night (good)

You lose all this by lynching him. If he's scum he'll simply be unable to confirm that he's the lookout and then we can look into lynching him. But in the event he's town he can clear himself.

This is false, mafia can blackmail their own and we don't know nothing.

Ok, so I dont know if ive left this too late in the day. But I can prove Joe is at best 100% lying about his roleclaim, or at worst scum.

I can only do this by roleclaiming myself. Im Town Lookout.

I thought he was sketchy before he claimed, but being the Lookout, I knew his claim was BS. I personally think the wagon on Yoshi is wrong, and being fuelled by mafia. (J-Cop, Vinnie, and possibly DB).

I can prove my claim Day 2 as well. If im still here.

There can be more than one lookout you dumbass.

loooool ive just realised that. I hold my hands up and admit I didnt read the rules as well i should have. Ggs.

Then name any of those actual threats! That's all we're asking you for about the last 42 hours. Also, Walter will not be the lynch today, so it's about time you swap your vote to anyone else. What do you think for example of Eoj's and Zarkov's claims? Do you believe any of them? Is J-Cop still town to you, even after the recent arguments made?

No, he's clear if his night action goes through unhindered and he's able to out someone visiting. Scum have no watcher so he can't just get lucky and guess.

It's possible he's scum and the person he outs as visiting is also scum and therefore "clears" Joe but I think eventually that will backfire hard because if Joe's ever killed the other is also confirmed scum.

If scum wants to waste one of their 2 blackmailers on Joe or whatever that's fine with me. If Joe's scum only one town is blackmailed and if Joe's town then better him than some other people here.

Well this is great...

I'm taking my last final exam in less then an hour and won't be done until just before the deadline.  I don't have time to offer a full explanation, but long story short, I haven't contributed much because this game hasn't been my number one priority over the last couple of days.

If I'm still around at the start of day 2, I'll explain myself more thoroughly.  I know my YS vote looks bad because I defended him in my post previous to that, but at the time it looked like this was between him and Joe.  I believe Joe when he says he is town, but I'm still uncertain about YS.  I knew that I wouldn't have time to read anything deeper until after my exam today, so I voted to lunch the person I'm less certain of out of the two that were being targeted.

Ok I'll concede that he can pretend to be blackmailed but we can still get his night info, that's not hard to fish out of him.

Joe: I'm blackmailed.

Joe vote who you watched.

*Joe votes X*

Joe vote who visited them, vote no lynch if nobody visited.

*Joe votes A. B. C*

Ok if any of them want to confirm it, go ahead. Joe's now clear.

Convenient that Jon shows up an hour before his supposed final to check into the game. Not saying he's lying but the timing of it is awfully strange.

Convenient that Jon JUST NOW says that the game's been on the back burner due to finals instead of at the beginning of the day.

Convenient that Jon has been fence sitting all day, refusing to pick a side on ANYTHING, and only voted Yoshistar because that was the current lead wagon.

Convenient that Jon's been contradictory, for example wanting to lynch an experienced player over a newbie who might have just messed up as town but yet votes Yoshistar because "Joe's valuable".

And yet he wants to save Joe due to Joe's experience, funny how that works eh? It's just more noncommittal stuff from Jon "yeah they could be mafia but they could also be town" seriously that doesn't help. It's like the third time he's decided to take the fence sitting approach to things.

I agree it is odd that after saying that his vote is on Yoshistar rather than eoJ. Looking at the post he made defending eoJ:

J-Cop wrote on 05/15/16 at 12:39:00:
I'm not as convinced about Joe as some of you are.  It would be a huge slip for a maf to make himself look so bad on D1, and Joe has been maf many times before.  He knows how to play the part, I doubt he'd make it so obvious this early in the game if he really was mafia.  As for Yoshistar, he's never played on a forum before.  As I've said earlier, new players tend to shoot themselves in the foot because they don't know how to behave yet in a game like this.  He could be maf, but he could just as easily be incompetent town.

I get most of my reads based on how people vote.  If we lynch Joe and he is town, we lose him but have a good read on Clark and Tim, who seem to be pushing the Joe wagon the hardest right now.  If we lynch Yoshistar and he turns up town, it would give us a good read on TvK and maybe Lafungo.  If it's going to be one or the other, I'd rather not lose Joe this early.

He kind of contradicts himself in the first half here. He brings up the point where he says he's really unsure of Yoshistar being maf or town because he's a newbie, but then a later votes him in what seems solely like an act of self-preservation. He even says in the post where he votes Yoshistar:

J-Cop wrote on 05/15/16 at 13:37:13:
J-Cop wrote on 05/15/16 at 12:39:00:

^ Nothing has changed since I said that.  I'm gonna be out for a while, so I'm gonna vote now.

[vote] Yoshistar [/vote]

So since nothing has changed he still feels unsure about Yoshistar, but instead of offering any alternative suspects or any other opinions votes him anyway.

Okay, reading over this again has convinced me that J-Cop is a stronger lynch target because he's trying to fly under the radar and avoid defending himself. At the same time he appears to have completely contradicted himself when discussing his lean on Yoshistar.

[vote]J-Cop[/vote].

I believe this should equalize the wagons at 7 votes each.

Now you mention it, it does draw some attention to him, honestly I still doubt he could be one of them, but that's my opinion.

And I like your blackmail proposing Zoran, if J-cop gets lynched instead and I get blackmailed, then so be it.

Goddammit Zarkov, why did you roleclaim.

It should be obvious at this point that Joe and Walter are bad lynches, no one should be voting for them. Joe for reasons Brett has stated several times, and Walter because it brings nothing to the table.

J-Cop seems like an acceptable lynch to me, although I'd still rather lynch Yoshistar. I'm currently more inclined to believe that J-Cop hasn't been able to invest himself in the game properly, whereas Yoshistar has been intentionally evasive with regards to just about every question directed at him.

Zoran's obsession with a blackmail code is bizarre, and I find his timing slightly scummy: he brought it up close to the end of the day, and insisted on it at the cost of all other discussion. Not too big a deal, but worth a mental note for later.
