Yoshistar never claimed to be a martyr, that was pretty much entirely me. I really had no choice since I misplayed so early in the game because of a random accusation by Zarkov and me giving out intentionally vague clues that eventually no one got, so I decided I had to do what I had to do. I don't know what else to say except blatantly say that I'm 1000% town, but even when people claim that basically no one believes them and insists on more information, which I have always provided.

Yoshistar, not so much.

When the heat was on me I was very vocal about me being town and that a D1 lynch on me would prove to be a loss for the town, whereas Yoshistar sort of just gave up on the game in his last post, not exactly falling on a sword like I have shown.  Smiley

How else do you want me to say that I'm town? "I'm town." It's an easy strategy to do like some have done and not post anything at all on D1 and somehow survive, because this game is a lot like "Survivor." You typically don't eliminate weakest links but players who you are threatened by. I have not been a threat to anyone aside from Zarkov and Timothy right off the bat and have defended myself ever since.  Smiley

Wait? Are you guys serious? I can understand the need for 1 person to unvote, just to be sure, but Racer, even switching votes because of it? Why do we suddenly want to release the pressure on Yoshistar. He just as much cracked under it, seeing his latest posts. Tyg, you even said that his last post totally convinced you was scum.

My post count is maybe low, but this is because i try to post when i have something useful and my posts are pretty big. Check out on page 9 my post #218. You can also answer a question i asked you while you are at it.

I could have used TvK's approach and make a separate post for every quote, would that make you feel better about me?

Why not? He doesn't even want to defend himself, he's basically told us he's mafia with his last post.

i gave you a reason - there is no use of cutting the day short.

It did, but thewebinator said ending the day would be bad and I agreed. And when Lafungo unvoted I thought that was a good idea. Trust me, I'm voting YS all the way.

Eoj didn't role claim straight away, he just hinted at it at first before there was a ton of suspicion on him, whereas Yoshistar definitely cracked under the pressure and he did jump on Eoj when it seemed convenient for him to possibly live.  We only have 6 votes on Yoshistar right now, I'm going to [vote]yoshistar[/vote]

Yoshistar, why do I look more suspicious just because I'm suspicious of TYG?  I think TYG looks suspicious because of a lot of the wishy-washiness of his actions and his coming on very emotionally in his first post, as others have alluded to.

Together with Lafungo and TYG who just unvoted, we have a theoratical total of 10 votes on him. Eoj has also mentioned that he wanted to vote Yoshistar, so that would be 11. I'm very happy with this count. And, yes , obviously I want the day to last as long as possible. I'm especially curious to what Fank and Brett will have to say about this wagon.

Prolly need to be in analysis mode to properlly dig deep. I'm more concerned about vinnie now, considering how his wagon didnt have as much traction as this one. Gonna readback to see where the votes piled on and see jow much worth the case has

About eoJ:

I know posts in the beginning are mostly random, but sometime people can slip right away. Maybe you guys don't see it as i do, but that 1st sentence from eoJ rubbed me the wrong way. It really sounded like a wannabe concerned townie.

Joe Reinreb wrote on 05/14/16 at 21:20:43:
Just got back from the bar. We have a friend of ours visiting from Chicago, so I apologize for my lack of posting.

There's a vote on me, and that's perfectly fine. I haven't cast my vote yet because, like I said, it's a crap shoot, but I still want to have at least a little bit of information instead of just throwing darts and seeing what sticks.

If anyone wants anything out of me, by all means ask away. I'll certainly have more time to post during the week as opposed to weekends (especially with a friend in town). But I'll try to answer as quickly as possible.  Smiley

Story that it is still day 1, all is random and a bunch of crap...maybe in a lot of games, but this one has a lot of players + almost all posting = more then enough info to make something of it, that is if you want to help of course.

I asked a question in #325, you didn't answer i guess you had no time with your guest and stuff. Then it was demanded from some people to get more involved and you come with funny stuff, mostly joking around with Zarkov.
And then it got real and suddenly you have time?
You have 24 posts at this point, pretty decent i would say. If you survive to day 2, i can't wait to see how much you post when you have more time as you said.

Your post #517 was finally a good one as some others stated, but this part...

Joe Reinreb wrote on 05/15/16 at 12:59:12:
I have helped the town by stating several times that a lynch on me would actually reveal some quality information on the people who rallied hard against me....

Yes, we know lynch on you will reveal information on people, i don't see how that is your help.

As for Yoshistar, it is obvious he lost it under pressure. Some posts were all over the place. Unfortunately he is not the only one who had wild posting.

For me it is between Yoshistar/eoJ right now as well. Let's see what the night (real life night) will bring tomorrow.

J-Cop wrote on 05/15/16 at 12:39:00:
I'm not as convinced about Joe as some of you are.  It would be a huge slip for a maf to make himself look so bad on D1, and Joe has been maf many times before.  He knows how to play the part, I doubt he'd make it so obvious this early in the game if he really was mafia.  As for Yoshistar, he's never played on a forum before.  As I've said earlier, new players tend to shoot themselves in the foot because they don't know how to behave yet in a game like this.  He could be maf, but he could just as easily be incompetent town.

I get most of my reads based on how people vote.  If we lynch Joe and he is town, we lose him but have a good read on Clark and Tim, who seem to be pushing the Joe wagon the hardest right now.  If we lynch Yoshistar and he turns up town, it would give us a good read on TvK and maybe Lafungo.  If it's going to be one or the other, I'd rather not lose Joe this early.

this is a good post, the people with the most heat on them are two opposites in terms of experience. if you look at risk vs reward for both helping us and hurting the mafia i'm not so sure i would vote joe on the very first day. yoshistar (and TYG) have been rambling incoherently but this isn't out of the ordinary. i do agree that yoshistar seems like he's trying to say whatever we want to hear, especially after being grilled, so

Yoshistar has a big chance of being lynched, but we do not want to end the day too early because this is not good for town.
It is not good for town because we can use that time to get more info.
