No, I didn’t mean that we list a bunch of people. I still don’t see how discussing night 1 actions is wrong. Especially with a team of town newbies, we need to make sure they don’t fuck up. Anyway, I brought up the Bodyguard because I couldn’t think of the roles back in my post, but the Bodyguard is one thing we shouldn’t discuss because the mafia can read that too. We can still discuss a ton of other roles without mafia gaining anything from it, though. Role blocker, sheriff, vigilante, lookout… what is the downside to discussing any of this?

I think we should probably not do that...... Also, if we did that, everybody would know who the mafia would be and the mafia would know who the townies are......
What? The mafia already knows that, that’s how the game works. You seem a bit lost.

Doesn’t this confirm that the claims of “mafia would’ve shut Vinnie up” are without foundation? If they can’t post in the forum until the day is over, how would they shut him up?
Also I was thinking– if we lynch someone on day 1, that would mean they won’t get to act at night, right…? And this game is filled with power roles. I can see no lynching being a good idea to let the night play out, since town doesn’t have a single vanilla going by the mod’s posts (neither does mafia I guess). At first I thought lynching every day would be simple game theory, but I wasn’t thinking about roles. With these many roles I don’t see why not lynching is as bad of an idea as others have made it out to be.
Fank hasn’t really done anything to clear my suspicion of him yet. Vinnie is also back on my radar now.
