Yes, this is how it should be.

For example if someone backed or blocked you, how do you not know this as a mafia veteran? Why would it be nice if they looked at each other?

I'didn't. I saw your post about them possibly being m/m.

Could still be m/m, or Sam taking a crapshoot and being lucky.
I don't think this is the case. That would mean Sam visited his maf member for what?
Web has made a huge mistake, but i would still like to wait and see how it turns out. People definately made some weird night actions(Web,eoJ).

You only say the J-Cop lynch was "bad" in retrospect, and "would have given us a wrong lead", but what would a Walter lynch have gotten us? A dead mafia (in retrospect), sure, but nothing more. J-Cop being town in retrospect doesn't make Brett's decision to push for a J-Cop lynch as town inherently bad.
It would have given us a dead maf and live j-cop. Mafia may have been down to 4 already after n1 and we would have 1 more townie.
I personally would have taken that scenario over this one any day.
Just wanted to add that i feel good about Dan's posts today. I think i answered most questions and made some analysis. Tomorrow i'll come with some questions and more analysis.
