So I was just brainstorming today and was thinking...should it be legal use controllers besides the Wii Wheel in TTs?
So here's the deal - Mario Kart Wii has been released for eight years. We've invented strategies, found glitches, and constantly grinded hours upon hours to optimize these tracks and try to get them down to their lowest time. But today, I believe that I have thought of something that no one has realized before... Using controllers besides the Wii Wheel gives you an unfair advantage! Check this out...
As you can see, with the Wii Wheel, it is very hard to control. Tricks are inconsistent, turns are less precise, and often it forces you to turn in your wheelie - if you can wheelie at all! Just take a look at this comparison video between different controllers!
I know what you're all thinking - other controllers might give you an advantage, but what's the big deal? Those other controllers were programmed into the game! The developers did that on purpose! Kind of like charging a standstill miniturbo, or pausing mid-run, right? WRONG. In fact, the developers
intended for you to use the Wii Wheel! Why else would they have spent so much on advertising it, and even including it with the game?? There's no other answer. This is how the developers want us to play the game.
I think it's time to end the days where people are given an unfair advantage for things they do in runs! They might be integrated into the game, but who cares?! Anyone who doesn't use the Wii Wheel should be banned for giving themselves an unfair advantage! So who's with me???
