Mario Kart MB - Broken Off Circle Pad

Racer727 King Offline MK is my best frenemy. seen 3427 mj vids Seattle, Washington, USA Gender:	Broken Off Circle Pad 04/09/16 at 07:44:38 My circle pad, both the rubber and the actual pad fell off this morning during a PR session, is it fixable? I Googled it but I didn't really get the answer I was looking for. Can you guys help? Are there any replacements that can be out on to make it work? If not I'll get a new DS but I really don't want to get one unless I have to. Please help.

Erwan and Samuel play without a circle pad but I wouldn't recommend it because it hurts.
You can order a circle pad online and there are youtube videos that show you how to replace it. Or you can bring it to a repair shop that also does 3ds's.
But before you do that, you can look if your 3ds still has warranty, maybe the shop where you bought it will repair it then for free.
The best solution is the most expensive one: buy a new 3ds Tongue

My warranty was already expired, so I just bought a 3DS XL. It's coming up on 2 years that I've had my XL and it works just fine still.

If you do choose to play with the stick like me, prepare to have a hole in your thumb from the layers of callused skin... Unless you don't TT as intensely as me, then you'll likely not TT a hole into your thumb haha Grin

But it's a very interactive way to TT, your body is physically and painfully involved until you get used to it... Undecided

I got really close to breaking my circle pad, so I took the initiative and bought a new 3DS XL yesterday. It's making weird noises when I play and is beginning to get a bit unresponsive. Luckily I took the initiative so I can just switch.

Little did I know that the pad would start to become unresponsive just a few months later. Smiley

Playing on my original hurts like hell. It's too small, my left thumb becomes very sore. The same kind of sore when snaking in MKDS (if you've played, you know what I mean) And the R button digs into my right index finger. I'm tempted to buy a new 3DS XL...

I handed it in at some computer repair shop and they replaced it with a tougher circle pad, but still is comfortable to play with. This cost me £20 and took about a week.
