Here's a fun challenge: How fast can you finish the Mushroom Cup?

My best is 09:27.46 with items Bowser-B Dasher-Slick-Gold Glider

And 09:38.72 without items. Bowser-B Dasher-Slick-Gold Glider

Start your timer when you press ok on the start race screen. Stop your timer when you cross the finish line on the final track. If this gains some interest, I'll make a top 5 chart. One more thing, I realize there is no way to actually prove your time (unless you record your run) so don't lie please.

Yeah I got item spammed in my run too, only one spiny shell though Shocked

Sub 9 minutes shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm glad to see actually decent players giving this a try. Since this is getting some interest at the moment, I'd appreciate it if you guys could tell me what your loading times are like. My (regular) 3DS takes about 15 seconds to load a track, and I've been wondering for a while now whether it's different on other models, like 2DS, 3DS XL, and New 3DS.

I don't know how you counted 15 seconds, I guess you stopped when the trumpet sound began, which gives 14s for me. (I play on 3DS XL)

Got 9:04 - almost 9:05 so let's say 9:04.9 - after many attempts... I can't be more accurate, I used my watch's stopwatch... What do you use as a timer to be able to give the hundredths? Or did you simply stop your stopwatch (those repetitions though...) and read the time?

Also, I use a new 3DS XL, so I could look at the loading's lenght. However I need to know: do you press A to skip the... (well I think you see what I mean) when you're counting?
