It's far too easy to forget what it's like to be a kid. But one secret to happiness is to be able to pick out links to our childhood in the mundanities of adult life. That's why I love Mario Kart. Whether I'm imagining wading through frosting in Sweet Sweet Canyon to take a bite of that giant donut, or picturing myself, shrunken down, making my way through Waluigi's pinball machine, there's something rejuvenating about the game that provides a nice reminiscence of the halcyon days gone by.

I don't see 1.0000 AF happening; Ethan will continue to push certain flaps to pretty much unbeatable limits (e.g. RMC1 flap), and Chris will always be there with his supernatural watersliding/snowsliding abilities.

And even if all this is surmounted, Ethan will still probably get 34"30/10"16 RR or something similar, and I doubt I have the patience to grind RR forever to try to get to that kind of level. Grin

TvK - why don't you have a hat?

Ethan - How was the Melee tournament, and what kind of beer did you have?

Ended up getting fukt on whiskey before the tournament.

Round 1 winners was a Peach named Z$. He didn't take a game off me last time we played but I was too blitzed to even L cancel so I ate many CC DSmashes.

Round 1 Losers was a fuckin ICs player. Was too blitzed for that MU. Lost game 1 cuz I missed a YOLO knee on last stock. Won match 2, lost match 3 on FD.

Once I sobered up a bit though I was back to my usual level and junking a lot of the people there.
