I'm fine with Jorge's time counting on mkwrs. The community supports counting his time and he has apologized and streamed attempts.
BTW I think people are overestimating CTGP's ability to stop cheated times. It is not complete proof that a time is legit. I would estimate that someone with strong technical skills/programming experience could upload a TASed time to the CTGP leaderboards within a week of dedicated effort. I have not attempted to do this myself, but I can think of many possible attack vectors. There is one method that I am fairly certain is unblockable and undetectable, although it definitely would take some effort to do this.
Think of it this way, if Mander was the one who came back to KC, there's no way that people would be saying that CTGP is 100% cheat-proof. They would instead suspect that Mander has figured out a way to cheat since he has shown experience with creating hacks for MKW.
So I hope the community will still value streaming as a way of proving oneself in addition to CTGP's anti-cheat mechanisms. Jorge did do a few streams here:
https://www.twitch.tv/jorgemkw/videos. I did not watch them live, but from what I watched from the replays it seems like he was showcasing WR level ability on the track.
I removed the link to "List of TT cheaters" from the sidebar, although you can still access it here:
https://mkwrs.com/mkwii/cheaters.phpAll former cheaters on the WR site now have a note on their profiles explaining their situation:
https://mkwrs.com/mkwii/profile.php?player=Jorgehttps://mkwrs.com/mkwii/profile.php?player=Barneyhttps://mkwrs.com/mkwii/profile.php?player=Manderhttps://mkwrs.com/mkwii/profile.php?player=Pacohttps://mkwrs.com/mkwii/profile.php?player=Malleo This is what Cole said when he removed the link. The community overwhelmingly decided that Jorge's KC run should count, and I guess at that point it was decided that the cheater page wasn't necessary anymore.
