So, when you buy stuff online I recommend waiting at least 40 seconds between pressing the payment button twice as well. Double clicking those can lead to more problems than an error screen. Unless of course you enjoy being double-charged for stuff, in which case rapid double-clicking is a good strat for you.

To avoid the problem here, I recommend waiting 40 + ε seconds, for any ε > 0.
