It depends how long ago the race started. In this case, the "race" started in 2003 when the forum was created. If you wait that long, the timer stops completely, which means it's impossible to wait 40 seconds.

you are wrong. The timer started at the last IP request which was 40 seconds ago. So the timer shows as 40.15.

But seriously, I have tried counting to 40 VERY slowly and it still doesn't let me search. Idk what it is about just searching, because posts and anything else work fine.
