Its good to here that people still play this game from time to time.
I just wish that Andreas would at least says ''hi'' or something to see that he's still alive, he was the one who inspired
me to MKDD back in the days when I heard about him, but then I lost interest in it. When Karlsson came he revived me
and started playing again for another year.
Now I just focus on reaching my goals for MKWII.

RIP Andreas Rudmarker and Richard Karlsson you two showed me so much Smiley

Well, I think mkdd still has some life left in it, although not much, and the "golden era" is definitely long gone. There are still a few active players in the top 100. Even the top players still come on the board and make prs now and then (well pretty much just me and the Swedish dudes tbh Tongue

) I know I'm personally not completely done with the game yet. Maybe I'll stream this weekend and go for the BC WR. Wink

or even just a pr would be cool. Grin

There is some hope yet for mkdd...come on baby don't die on me Smiley

Andreas has started playing/speedrunning other games, and Richard also lost interest cuz... well, all the dudes from the 2006-2009 time dissappeared. I never was part of this era, I just joined when this era ended, and I was so amazed by the times. I always wanted to talk or at least write with them, sort of kart idols Grin

and now I met those guys irl. There's still one person of the MKDD community I want to talk to... but I guess that will never happen as he will never show up here again Smiley

haha hello there dude, i totally missed this thread

i check in sometimes and i also play mkdd from time to time, thinking about starting to play mk64 again, but i will definitly come back to mkdd some day!

Me and Richard are mostly playing all cups show offs on events and stuff now days, time trialing hasn't been much lately...

i hope this game never dies! Smiley

The main reason I rarely play is because there's only 16 tracks, so it's way more repetitive at times

I've been playing a bit again lately, but mostly GP. Yesterday I set a new best time on my memory card on BC, but it's still almost half a second above my actual PR. It was a Titan time though, and I hope to re-get all Titans; still 8 Hero A's and 3 Hero B's left. But getting an actual PR seems almost impossible, no matter how clean my driving looks. My virtual ARR is 2 points more than my actual one. Were my fingers really that much faster before? Undecided

I know that feel Thomas. But I think it's more because you just need a lot longer to get back into the game than any other. Some have the feeling for this and can reach top times in no time (I am like that in MKSC), But most of us just need to get the muscle memory back Undecided

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my GP times now (at least I'm sure I've beaten my All Cup Tour records on 150cc and mirror), it's time to get back to TT.
