Some fast facts:

• 2014 is the 3rd most WR-filled year for MKSC - the only years to beat it are 2006 and 2007, when ZZMT was first being used.
• There were also 16 and 17 WR contributors in 2006 and 2007 respectively, but in 2014 there were only 4.
• 89.5% (179) of the WRs came from me. Pierre has the 2nd most WR improvements posted with 188 of them.
• The course totals fell 14.32 seconds, and the lap times fell 3.66 seconds. We're now basically within 7 seconds of getting the sub-45 minute grand total.
• For the first time since 2007, there was at least 1 WR every month this year. The quietest month was October with 3. The most active month was March, with 45. March was the 2nd-most active of all time, losing only to the 50 of October 2001, when times were first being sent in!

Needless to say, I feel pleased about how well 2014 went. Now, if only I would write the news more often....
