Absolutely. There's lots of ways we can make more space if needed. I can make those pages a fraction of their current size if people still want to see them, and if we need space in future.

I think it's well past time to move the site to a VPS so we can stop worrying about these frivolous issues like it's 2003.

That used to mean like $80/mo. but recent newcomers (e.g. Digital Ocean, now Linode too) are in the same price range as crappy old shared hosting.

Database down all the time? Unacceptable.
Having to worry about the crazy small storage limit? Ridiculous.

I'm willing to help, I moved the Elite forums to a Digital Ocean VPS in May and everything is smooth so far. We still didn't move over the rankings site yet though because there hasn't been a need.
