Basically im saying you won't make the train which departs 1 hour later considering the distance in miles from CDG to Montparnasse station also, unless your flight lands a whole hour earlier then it is possible. Either way definitely catch a cab anyway but you would have to get some train tickets there for another train later in the day to Le Mans and then to La Suze-sur-Sarthe. One of the guys from France who is knowledgable about the trains will have to advise on this though so you can plan that accordingly. Maybe there are some french guys travelling on a later train from Montparnasse you can meet with.

In a slightly unrelated to the CDM note, im at 374 caps now. Big thanks to Harvey who sent me a bunch over the other week. His contribution added around 50 new ones to my collection. Some cool sodas were in there which I like.

So with Dan, and Geoff Ewbank, bringing me some aswell I should be well over the 400 mark when I return.

edit: Interestingly the Newcastle Brown Ale cap is different in the USA. The UK one is all yellow with just the black star in the middle.

Also there arnt many doubles in Dans compared to Harveys. I can see maybe 3 or 4. Nice to see that Dans bringing the (what I assume) is the full set of Goose Island caps. And once again, they are different in the UK lol.

^The time isn't fast (I boosted through the big sand part on each lap), it's the consistency that I was aiming for.

Anyone got in touch with Drew recently? It would ruin our car travelling plans if he popped suddenly at FF's tomorrow, I really need to make sure he's gonna meet Team UK & NL on Tuesday. He didn't answer my PMs / emails (which means we never got his money for the T-shirt too, which is much less important though).

So we're apparently not leaving Paris from Montparnasse. Instead taking a train to Le Mans from the airport... it leaves at 3. Will pull in to La Suze at 5:34.

Nick, I had never heard of Abita beer until you mentioned it. Just like you probably haven't heard of Summit, Surly, Lucid, Fulton, Indeed, Enki, Excelsior, Waconia or any other of the awesome MN breweries that are popping up all about. I did go to a new tap room in my home town the other day. It opened about a week ago and it did have Abita Wrought Iron IPA. I recognized the name, so I tried it and I must say I was thoroughly disappointed. If that beer is really 80 IBU, then I'm Santa Claus. I like a bitter, hoppy IPA, and that definitely was not it. My wife can't stand most IPAs because of the hoppiness, but she found that one ok. Hang your head in shame, Louisiana brewers. Maybe I shouldn't judge by a single drink, but come on.
