I told you months ago that I'm interested, I still am and the dates look good for me. I already saw much information on the CDM website; attendance fees are niceand low as well, I have to check how expensive the travel would be.
I must take a train from Paris to Le Mans and another one to La Suze-sur-Sarthe, right?

The TT 1 tries starts early evening usually I think (after we arrive we set up tents and say hello to everyone, grab some beers and stuff first). Would be great to see you there Matthias.

TT usually starts in the evening? That's good. I was checking out some flights just now and found one for about $700 per person (much better than the $1500+ most of the other flights cost, lol) that gets to Paris at around 1pm, so I might have to jump on that.

Edit: Booked! My wife and I will see you all in August! Now I have to book a room in the hotel, cuz she said whe will not sleep in a tent all week.

Where do you usually meet in Paris and from which train station do you leave the capital?
I've checked my train connections: Cheapest and also fastest way for me is to take a high speed train from Köln (Cologne) to Paris, I'd arrive at 12:05 à gare du Nord Wink

then. Can someone tell me how expensive tickets to Le Mans / La Suze-sur-Sarthe are? I already found a site offering a one-way ticket from Paris Montparnasse to Le Mans for about 33 € (2h18min), but I don't know if that's within the normal range.
I'd have to be back in Paris (Gare du Nord) on Sunday at 15:55 by the way, in case someone likes to travel together with me.

I understand your point but CDM is still called this way (and not WC), still held in France, and still organized with FFSMK.

English could become the main championships language if FFSMK becomes an international federation and if some people outside from France start to consider hosting the event. Wink
